It was very easy to light , push the button and go. It's pretty tuff also. I backed over it with a allis chalmers 170 loader tractor while torching brush piles. It survived no problem. Good product.

This torch works as advertised. I have a persistent issue with ice on my driveway after winter precipitation followed by below freezing temperatures. I do not like using chemical treatment because of the damage it does to the concrete. The torch melts the ice rapidly and I only have to sweep away the water before it refreezes.Also, I had a slight issue with my purchase. The people at Quane were extremely responsive and made a point to make sure that I was satisfied. Excellent customer service and it shows that they stand behind their product.The torch is not a toy. So, be sure to use it responsibly. You will not be disappointed if you take reasonable precautions and use common sense. It is an impressive tool.

If you want to control your weeds, clean yo your driveway seams and more, this is the torch for you. It is very well made and I love the starter that works every time.This torch is exactly what I was looking for. It is very efficient on the propane at the right adjustment. It kills te weeds fast and most don't come back. I was using roundup almost every 2 weeks to keep the weed down in the flower beds. This thing burned them up and they still haven't come back. So I'm sold.

Works well and it is easy to set up, however it could use a longer cord and a extended pipe to keep the heat away as the flame is quite strong.I would recommend wearing shoes,pants and watering after.All in all much more comfortable than using a manual weeder and it is the same cost as a manual weeder in my area.

This thing is great. It gets hot, very hot. Weeds don't stand a chance. The torch could be a little longer for taller people but still a good buy. The hose is long enough you don't have to move the tank very much. I strapped mine to a two wheel dolly so it's easy to move around. The turbo part does eat up more gas but you don't have to use it all the time. It has a knob for flame control. Over all, if you have weeds, get this. It works.

Until I tried the torch, the weeds would keep coming back up, even with string weed killer liquids. I used this torch in the spring on an open parking area of my yard and was weed free all summer for the first time in more than 10 years. Yes, its loud when operating but I rarely needed to use the flame at full power. I used ear protection when using it , but I have sensitive hearing. I was a little concerned that whe I released the activation lever that the “idle “ flat was still present, I expected it to go out and re-light when I activated again. I wrote to the manufacturer and sent video and they responded quickly (next day) explaining that it was normal operation. I just need to pay attention to where its aimed in between weed burning. Most of my weeds were low to the ground and not tall standing. I used it on several green tall plants and it does take some extra time to burn them. The handle could be more comfortable but is ok for 40 minutes of weed control. The flame adjustment is a little sensitive but once you’re used to how it works, all is well. I wish I had purchased one of these years ago!

Love using this product gets the job done fast! I'm a 73-year-old lady suffering from arthritis in my hands so using hands and some yard tools to eliminate weeds really hurst my hands the Quaine weed touch kills the weeds fast and easy. I also used weed torch to burn a tree stump that also worked great I had tried burning using lighter fluid but couldn't keep the fire going 1200 BTUs charred it!!!! Using pickax was slow and painful. Lights easy with push of button, easy to connect to my propane tank and the 10 ft long hose is great to work in a larger area without moving your tank. I did find that attaching the propane to my hand truck was a great idea and was prefect to move tank. Keep your hose handy, read your manual and enjoy eliminating your weeds fast and easy!!! I have wanted a torch burner weeder when I saw several years ago an article in Southern Living wish I had bought one before now. So much easier than using my string trimmer on my stone pathway. FIVE STARS for this product.

Sometimes, you just get lucky or you work with Amazon and a company called Quanie, to finally fix the seemingly impossible. For several years, the only solution to the weed problem in our back yard and rock gardens was chemicals or by hand. Most everybody has a grill with that propane tank that fits under the grill. What Quanie has developed is a propane torch that threads into the tank, and you carry it around to eliminate weeds. It's a sophisticated piece of equipment, and has a push button to fire it up. It is SO WORTH THE EXTRA FEW DOLLARS to give ease of use and peace of mind. The chemicals I used to use are not that effective any more, especially that clover spread that has those little yellow, black, or white flowers. In fact, these voracious weeds seem to thrive on the current batch of "SUPPOSED SOIL STERILIZERS" . Also, my little puppy Charlee, might have gotten sick from the sprays. Finally, "THE ANSWER". this Quanie torch. You can also use it to finally melt those dangerous patches of ice that hang out in the shade during winter. THANKS SO MUCH AMAZON AND QUANIE !!!!!

Love this for a quick and environmentally safe way to rid weeds. Nice long cord. Only wish the neck was a little longer so you don't have to bend over as much. Reasonably priced.

This torch is very powerful, I use it start my fire pit fire and to burn out tree stumps. The quality seems very good and the 9.8 foot hose is long enough to keep the propane tank at a safe distance. The price was good too.

Pulled it out of the box, hooked it up to a very old propane tank and it worked great. Glad I'll be able to use up the old tanks from before the change as well as working with the new tank connector. Remember that these are threaded the opposite direction so it's leftie tightie... Burned up the weeds nicely.

The device is decent overall. I don't love that all the squeeze trigger does is make the flame bigger or smaller - I'd have much prefer it turn the flame on and off, but I understand there's restrictions in a device this cheap. It works well though for what it's worth. The hose length does feel shorter than required for most driveways if you have this connected to a propane tank though
