I had not used carpet tape before. This stuff is wonderful and will not damage your real wood floor; it is a silicone-like substance and works like any double-sided tape. THAT RUG WILL NOT BUDGE - nobody's slipping on these. Highly recommended.

This is the first product that has actually held my rugs to the floor. We have tried so many, but they only last a short time. This tape has held now for almost 2 months, withstanding children and dogs running on them. Definitely highly recommend.

Be careful with this stuff! It will stick to anything. It keeps my rugs in place, as well as furniture. Peeling it off tile can be difficult, but it leaves nothing behind.
