I looked really hard for what I hoped would be nice-looking and good quality stair treads for my main hardwood stairway. These have been GREAT. Perfect thickness and quality. I used additional two-sided carpet tape right away when installing but their own adhesive seemed also good. I've vacuumed numerous times, have pets and these get walked on constantly. They've continued to look good, clean easily and stay put. Highly recommend.

Contrary to everyone in existence, I hate hard wood flooring. It's cold, visibly dusty, scratches over time, and is most horribly slippery. I'd prefer not to fall down or more often in my case, "up" the stairs. Thankfully I live alone for no one to see that. These HEBE Carpet Stair Treads are an Excellent! alternative to carpeting the entire staircase. They work as I expected, feel good underfoot, fit prrfectly, priced well, and look Great! If I could say and make one suggestion, I wish they were boxed flat, instead of folded, which makes them bubble up in the middle when initially placed on the stairs. They are flattening out after a couple days, but still. Or, if they must be boxed folded to lower shipping cost, storage cost, or fit in the selected box, fold them the other way so they bubble "down" as to avoid tripping on them sticking up during those first few days. Maybe I should have hung them up-side-down on a closet rod for a couple days to bend them the other way? I may try that with the three extra Carpet Stair Treads, as I only have 12 stairs. It is a positive to have three extra, in case something happens to one.Thank you HEBE, Excellent Product!

These are very soft and comfortable under foot. Fits well in the middle and of the stair. Colors are pleasing. They definitely feel like a good quality rug material and do allow slip resistance.I did have to use other means to get them to stick to the stairs. The sticky side of the carpets was not nearly sticky enough to stay in place, so I had to use other sticky tabs to get them to stay. They do function as expected now they are firmly stuck to the stairs. I feel much safer going up and down and feel better about my son running up and down the stairs.

The carpet part is fine and my mom really likes the pattern. I bought and installed these on her wooden basement stairs because those steps have been a hazard for 60 years - appalled with myself that it took me so long to think of doing this. The diamond center pattern makes it easy for her to see each step and the low pile carpet texture helps her keep her footing. Took off two stars because the adhesive is far too weak and the peel off film is insanely frustrating. No matter how I approached it, it always ended up slivering on at least one edge if not all, sometimes multiple times. I’m a crafty person who works with a lot of different materials - this is a product problem, not user error. It was like the most annoying splity packing tape ever x10. Obviously I got the job done, but messing with that film every single time while kneeling on steps was a huge time suck for what should have been a quick and easy job. I went out and bought double sided carpet tape to guarantee the adhesion on the front and sides so the carpet tiles won’t slip on the way down or get caught by the tips of shoes coming up. Without the extra tape these would have slipped off, raised up and generally been a bigger hazard than the bare wood stairs. Now they’re safer and she loves how they look.

I love everything about these! They look great, stay in place, wash, and were very affordable. I have recommended them to others.

LOVE these! Easy to reposition if you get them in the wrong place! I was helping a friend put these down at her house and I had been looking for stair treads so I got some for myself. So easy to apply ( I did use some spray adhesive as well just for extra insurance). They look Beautiful!! And now I feel safe walking down the stairs!!

Replaced my old stair runner with these, and love them. Have a fresh new look with get little work. After reading reviews thought I might need carpet tape to keep them on but decided it wouldn't be a big deal if I did. So far, I'm just using the adhesive that is on them. It's not super sticky (think Post-it note glue), but it stays in place yet it's easy to remove. It's been a month and they have not budged, even after vacuuming several times. Easy to install. Can't believe all the people whining about the film on the back. It's not rocket science. Clean the stairs well (I used alcohol), let dry, remove the film slowly and you won't have any trouble.

I’ll start with saying these are visually appealing and decent quality material. But this is where the positives end for this product. The thin plastic backing that protects the adhesive is a nightmare. It reminds me of cellophane and static clings to everything it touches, which would be fine if it easily came off in one piece, but it does not. Someone decided that instead of the plastic piece just being placed over top of the adhesive that it should also be stitched into the edges of the product. Which results in the plastic tearing and breaking, leaving small pieces around the edges. And if anyone has tried to stick something down before you know that the edges are always the hardest to get stuck. So your options are either to sit there and pick out the tiny bits left over or have the edges not stick. Once you are past that part, if the carpet pieces are at all bent, then it doesn’t matter if plastic pieces are left over or not because the adhesive isn’t strong enough to keep the edges down (so make sure to flatten them before even attempting install). I now have candles placed on the corners of all the pieces to try to get them to stick. So now you’re done right? Wrong. You now have to clean those thousand pieces of plastic sticking to every surface from earlier. All in all this took around an hour to do 14 stairs. I will be keeping this because I’m not wasting that hour by ripping them back up, but I for sure will never be buying these again. Safe yourself the headache and buy carpet pieces without adhesive and get yourself some good double sided tape.

These are not good, do not waste your money. The investment for an entire staircase is not cheap and they do not look good. They do not stay in place and the corners on most of them have flipped up. I do not want to glue them down as to not damage the wood so there’s no solution. I installed them according to the instructions and even cleaned the stairs with an additional special product when I saw it wasn’t quite gripping. Also the ones I had to cut to fit the turning stairs look awful, it’s not a nice clean cut. I contacted the seller and zero help.

They were a wee bit too long for the stair so we cut them and kept the end so it looks perfect

I love these stair runners. They look amazing and they stay on the stairs fairly well. There is no tape or glue. The back has this plastic that sticks to the stairs fairly well. The durability has been great so far.

These look true to the ad, no surprises there which is excellent. But, on our stairs (which to be fair are old and in rough shape), they aren't sticking well. Carpet tape should fix this. They likely stick better on newer steps with a nice smooth finish. But if your steps are 100 years old and showing abuse, get some carpet tape to go along with them. Also, an exacto knife and hot glue do work for modifying them on the curved/odd shaped steps you might have at the top or bottom of your staircase.

I’m so impressed with these. They really don’t shift on my hardwood stairs. I have 3 little dogs and these things stay put. I can even vacuum them in place with my Dyson on low. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘🼠I get lots of compliments on them.
