These are not very thick but do the job they are used for. Friends have thick ones and I don’t feel confertable as these. Thicker ones have too much height, and your foot has too much room to rock n’ roll on them. You know “ back and forthâ€. Doesn’t make you are stable on the thick ones. These are just right, will buy them again!

Much thinner than the ones I bought last year. One mat had a piece missing. Pain to use the double sided tape to mount on cement stairs. I really should give these a 3 star. I mean they are so thin...does the job I guess. Can't figure out how to complain about the broken piece.

I expected these to look odd and out of place on our wood backyard stairs, but they blend right into the potted plants and other things on the steps. What's better, the blunt headed wide tacks they come with have worked perfectly to keep them from tripping or slipping! I was a little worried about how secure these would be once on a soaking wet wood staircase (it rains constantly here). Instead, these mats have made it so we feel much more confident walking up and down to the garden!

These are awesome. I have a deck that has stairs. I slipped on the stairs when they were wet and broke my wrist. So, I ordered these and no more slippery steps.

I purchased these for the back stairs. I was looking for something a bit more substantial instead of the grip strips as we have a bulldog puppy(he's a bit top heavy and was sliding down the stairs and missing the strips altogether.) The nails provided bent and weren't really usable. The actual mats are thinner than I was expecting. I used a staple gun to attach them to the wooden stairs and the staples easily went around the rubber instead of through. It did work as intended for our dog, but the mats began pulling apart on the first day.I think they would work out well in a low traffic spot.

They have been in use for 2 years and are holding up well. I would recommend using the nails that come with it rather than the tape. The hold doesn’t last. I nailed down the front corners of treads to allow me to lift to clean any accumulation of dirt. Would recommend.

Ordered 3 boxes and one was missing plastic capped nails for instalation....I improvised for mounting and they work exactly as I had hoped

We like our stair treads they look nice. However the tape is horrible. Very difficult to work with. It didn't peel very easily or adhere despite cleaning properly the mat as well as the stair which is. We had to resort to using the nails provided.
