When my daughter rescued a puppy, she asked us to buy these for our home so that when the puppy came to visit, the dog would not slip on the steps. As a mom, I’m happy to do whatever she asks for, even though I thought it was overkill. I was wrong. These are fantastic. Not only does it make it easier for the puppy to gain traction on the stairs, it makes it easier for my granddaughter and even me. These look so good that I bought two colors for two different sets of stairs. Both colors look great and have been down for about two months. They are wearing beautifully. The box says that these are washable though I haven’t needed to wash them yet. They were simple to install.

Have had these on basement stairs for about a year. Very good quality. Tape stays put nicely. Don’t use a super strong suction on them for vacuuming or will pull up the tape. Looks nice and would buy again

These treads are great and priced good. Very easy to put in place. Very soft. One out cats likès it too, started taking naps on the stairs after installed. Color is great. Vacuuming them is not an issue, no problems with them not sticking, even with plenty of foot traffic on them. I have not had to pull up and wash, so I cant review on the reuse of them. I just plan to use small hand steamer when needs cleaned.

I purchased these carpet treads to place on my newly refinished wood stairs leading to the basement so my dog and people would not slip. The nice thing about these are that the plastic on the back that gets pulled off for installation is very easy to work with compared to others. The plastic pulls off in one smooth easy tug, whereas other manufacturers plastic film requires so much effort and rips in a million pieces. All 15 treads took me less than an hour to put down, whereas another purchase I made took me more like 3 hours because of the difficult plastic backing....so comparably speaking, these are a pleasure. They do not leave any residue or glue on the stairs, and absolutely stay put. They have not moved with daily use. The colors are limited and are rather perfunctory and utilitarian looking; they are not a thick carpeted cushion-like experience as with other stair treads. They are basic and do the job for basement stairs. I do wish they would offer a bit more fashion forward designs and thicker carpet, but hey, for the price I am very happy and they do the job! They do feel a bit synthetic or polyester like, and they are pretty flat. I have not yet washed them so I don't know if they will hold up. They did not come wrinkled in any way and lay pretty flat out of the box. I ordered the dark gray which is true in color. Honestly for the money I am very happy with my purchase and they work well and served my needs for the basement stairs.

These step covers are just what we needed for our basement stairs. Our steps are pretty steep and slippery, and our senior dog has recently taken to going down stairs to rest in my son’s room. We got these in the hopes of her not sliding or possibly falling and breaking her leg, etc. They fit perfectly and we didn’t need to trim them at all. They are thick and sturdy, and don’t slide around. The color is a nice darker gray, and they haven’t pilled at all. They were very easy to place; you just wipe the step and put down the cover. We love knowing that our dog can go downstairs safely now, and at her own speed. I recommend these to everyone.

I bought these to encourage the dog to come down the steep, slippery steps into the basement. While she is still weary of the steps, I feel like I should have bought these years ago. It's an older house and the linoleum steps are slightly uneven. I was always a little nervous of stepping wrong and slipping. I feel more more confident coming down the stairs, and maybe in time, so will Juno.They were easy to install. I followed the directions in the box and cleaned the steps before putting them down. The tacky side was enough to hold them in place and I did not need the extra tape that was included. I've had them for about a month now and they hold up to traffic and dirt. Really love these.
