Exactly what I was looking for as far as function, ease of installation, color, look and cost. My elderly dog hasn’t been able to use the stairs because she couldn’t get traction, as soon as I put these on, she was able to walk up the stairs. I read a review that complained about peeling the film off of the back, just follow the directions and go slow and it’s a piece of cake. I only had to pick off a couple of pieces, no big deal. Love these.

Our 14 y.o. dog needed these, but we really didn't want to ruin the look of our stairs. These look just fine and went on easily. Most important, our dog's mobility is 100% better. Other similar items were much pricier, but glad we went with these as a solution to help our dog get through this part of his life with less fear and fewer slips.

They actually look very nice, but it should come with some better adhesive for the back part. I had to actually staple these down onto my wooden garage stairs, but they definitely look very nice and will help with the slipping so I would recommend just know that it’s not as sticky as it should be on the back

Product came delivered well packaged and fast. I love them. The backing comes off very easy. They stick nicely and add the perfect touch to my Mahogany hardwood flooring. I opted to install them flush against the riser. However, they are sized such that you can center them on the treads. So far, no curling on the corners yet.

**Honest review**This is our first house with indoor stairs (5) and our older dog was nervous and wouldn’t go down without help cuz her paws were slippery a little due to the texture of the stair. We just bought this house so thought this is the simplest and cheapest remedy at first because she has to go up and down until we can remedy a better solution later. When these arrived, we cleaned the stair like instructed, removed the plastic off the back of the carpet strip as the instruction directs and although we like the look, they grip and you don’t slide on the stair but as you go up and down the stairs, the strip “moves/walks†around and it won’t stay in the original spot. We constantly (like everyday and sometimes many times during the day) move them back to their original spot because my OCD is VERY BAD. So these are a cheap and quick remedy and they do look nice but don’t expect them to 100% stay where you want them to.

We have 16 steps, so I had to buy a 15-pack and then opted for a 4-pack. Funnily enough we have another staircase with 17-steps so if we choose to pursue that staircase, we’ll just need another 15-pack. They came in great shape and ready to be installed. As others have mentioned, the plastic removable backing was kind of a pain but not too bad. They appear to have adhered pretty solidly (no moving and the corners are all attached pretty well), and they are a good size for our steps. There was a slight odor for off-gassing but not too bad.l and gone within 48-hours. We’ll see how they clean up and how the durability lasts but very pleased so far! It took about 75-minutes to fully install but I also vacuumed, mopped and wiped down each step with cleaner before installing the treads.

While I loved these at first, they are fraying after having them in my home for three months. It is just myself, spouse, and dog and they are already showing signs of the tread unraveling and fraying. It is very disappointing.
