It came housed in a plastic sheath fir the blades and that snaps between the handles and still came with a corner protection so the blade points set into the cardboard triangle. That impressed me. But of course, for such a small trimmer it proved its worth. It felt comfortable in my hands and was easy to grip, not too heavy. Once I figured out not to squeeze but rather alligator snap the blades at offending branches, I cleared overgrown bushes and garage encroaching tree branches. It won't chop down a tree, but this is a powerhouse of a trimmer and well worth the inexpensive cost! Highly recommend it.

My husband was incapacitated due to medical issues, and I really needed the hedges trimmed, but I wasn't willing to pay the lawn mowing company to do it, so I bought these. They were great, easy for me to use and they were SHARP! Excellent!

Right sized for my purposes between a hand shear and loppers. The flimsy plastic sheath is a negative. It has an eyelet at the top presumable to hang it for store display. Mine came with one of the side seams ripped. Even if intact I’d give the cover a few uses before it would be tossed. Do better in that regard.

I was in dire need of new shear. I have particular brand that Ive been using for years but I couldn't find them in store or online. The local hardware store told me they were getting more in so in the meantime I wanted to find an inexpensive shear until my regular shear came available...... I'M SO GLAD the shears I wanted weren't available because I wouldn't have purchased these!These are a GREAT size for my needs; trimming shrubs, bushes, etc etc.Blade is very sharp.I only have had them for about a month and no issues with quality. They have a nice handle for those who suffer from issues like neuropathy like myself.I do recommend purchasing these affordable shears!
