I was surprised to find the compressor was made in Italy with a metal housing of good quality. The horns are plastic (as pictured), but they produce quite a sound! It's a fairly high pitched horn, I guess because lower tones require more air volume to operate. This system sounds like super-mega-bicycle twin horns on steroids; Very European. If you are looking for a train blast, this isn't it. For that you'll need a storage tank, larger horns, and a much beefier compressor. And a lot more than $22.It took a little doing to mount this system as no hardware is supplied. Before it was over I spent about $15 on a metal bracket, hardware, wiring, a fuse, and connectors. So consider it as $15 more than you pay here for the horn set alone.I'm very pleased with the horns and consider it an amazing value. Just make sure you have room in a location that directs the horn where you want it. I ended up mounting it behind the front grille pointing down and spray painted some of the assembly flat black so it isn't easily seen from the front of the car through the grille.This is a lot of fun and unique. Given it's somewhat playful tone you probably won't end in a fist fight should you use it in actual traffic. You will be noticed! Quite loud.

These horns are great.They get u noticed.If they would come with the wires and mounting brackets it would be a perfect buy...I always go for Hella products...When i bought my 1st car,i had these installed with my VIPER alarm,its a great combo for me,plus the tints.Second car,same thing...Love the air horns,the kit i bought here at Amazon is for my girls car,didnt know they had it for such a great price.Had to get it.

I purchased these horns to get rid of the "beep beep" sound on my 2007 350Z. All I can say is wow!!! I do not know if Hella makes the horns for ferrari but it sure sounds like one now. It has a nice dual tone high pitched sound that attracts attention. Makes my car sound like an exotic!!! And you can't beat the price I paid either. Great build quality as well.

It puts a smile on my face every time I press the button. This is probably my fourth air horn (previously Fiamm). I love them. Women don't seem to get it though.Pros: Fairly easy installation (once you figure out location) Compact compressor Nice sharp sound & response (consistent so far) Worked with my existing horn relayCons: Nuts and bolts only, no mounting brackets for trumpets (I had to fabricate a bracket)
