It worked great until it broke.I was not on the bike when it broke, I was just manoeuvering the bike around this awkward area in the pic when it snapped.

My son's bike had the normal, basic kickstand mounted by the pedals and after awhile it no longer held the bike upright. I replaced it with this HENMI kickstand that goes on the back frame tube of his BMX bike. The bike has 20 inch tires and due to the adjust-ability of this kickstand, I was able to fine tune the hold angle for his bike to keep it upright. Additionally, this kickstand is much easier to deploy. My son doesn't do any crazy tricks on his bike, so I am not worried about this thing getting in the way or popping down suddenly. This was a great fix to my issues and I am sure we will get rid of the bike before this thing breaks.

Well I finally got it my old metal one that was on the back of my bike was bending and it wouldn't stay up when I kick the stand back. I had to use a bungee cord to hold it in place. And it was a 50-50 chance that the bike would fall over I saw this online I remember having one like it a long time back so I bought this one it's not very heavy it's kind of lightweight aluminum it was very easy to put on my bike unlike the last one and it seems to be working really well so far I had to do a little adjusting after I put it on but everything is working right and I'm pretty sure it's not going to fall over this time. I think I need to get some Loctite to make sure the bolts stay in place
