This Live center absolutely rocks on down the road! It has great bearings, a great design and will probably Outlast the owner. I use it in a commercial fabrication shop, Wheat State welding LLC in Derby Kansas. It's very accurate with very little total indicated run out. the only thing I wish it had was a little stub on the back so that you could eject it from your tailstock by running the tailstock all the way back. I think you could tap some threads into the back of it because there's a hole that's almost perfectly sized for 3/8 threads and put a bolt in there like a socket head cap screw or maybe just a stud and that would solve that problem.

Great item it is heavier duty than what I thought it would be. It fits perfectly into my Morse 3 taper like it came from the factory.

It’s very sturdy, a well built piece. The only negative I have, and it’s minor, is that the housing(?) is fairly large in diameter which limits cross-slide/compound positioning on shorter projects.

Came with the ball oiler broken. Oil runs out the back anyway so no matter. Seems tight otherwise
