It works and is strong for it's size. But it is small so double check the measurements to make sure it is the one you need.

I'm using a tarp to cover a piece of equipment in which I'm able to use bungee straps on the corners but it wasn't easy to use them in the middle of the tarp. I decided to purchase these magnets for the middle area. They're doing the job so far but I would guess they only have around 10, maybe 15lbs of pull. I'm not complaining so-to-speak, just saying I don't feel I'm "pulling" 30lbs while removing them with simply two fingers that fit into the handle area.

Miniature piece of junk. I was expecting a magnet to use for knife making, like the ones seen on Forged in fire. This is definitely not it. About 2" long, 3/4" wide, I sincerely that doubt that this piece of junk could pick up a piece of knife steel, let alone hold it for sanding belt cleaning.. Bottom line: one look and I'm returning this piece of useless junk.

I should have read the product dimension, so it's my fault, but that picture is a bit misleading. Itll do the job just no what I was expecting so here's a reference to go by. Smaller than a post it note.

Not as strong of a magnet as I thought it would be. The strength of the magnet also depends on the metal you are using it on. Sometimes it’s so weak the magnet can barely pick up anything. And sometimes it does a decent job. The handle is definitely handy I’ll give it that, so 3 stars instead of 2.

Works great for knife making. Allows me to grind the full face of the blade without the difficulty of trying to hold it with my fingers, or getting burned. I added a little epoxy to the front to cut down on scratching.
