Saw on Shark Tank and bought it in hopes that it would help with my significant other’s hiccups (his last forever and really hurt him). We have both used the straw, along with our daughter and son, and we have all had success with it. It is terrific!It is also really easy to carry around although I do wish it came with a carrying case/bag. I know that is perhaps an odd comment that I carry this straw around in me 24/7 (lol) but I store mine in my purse and am considering actually getting another one (maybe even more) so that we have them at home and on-the-go for when the hiccups hit (like I said, hiccups are unusually painful for my SO, having this on-hand has proven to be a great relief to him). As mentioned, it would be great if they could actually send it with a pouch to keep it in but for the price and the benefit, this has been amazing and is absolutely worth it.Fyi, I also hear it helps with “cancer hiccupsâ€. I do not know this from personal experience but saw comments on the SubReddit for Shark Tank when I was considering purchasing the product that conveyed how grateful purchasers were to provide a loved one battling cancer with this straw that greatly decreased the time the patient was hiccuping. I thought that was pretty amazing if it could work for people with cancer. Thankfully my wonderful nephew had JUST “beat†cancer before I came across this product but I really wish I had came across this item so much sooner so that I could have purchased it for him since, when I asked him if “cancer hiccups†were a “thing†(not trying to be rude, you hopefully understand what I mean as he did), he confirmed that these dreadful nuisances were absolutely real. Apparently they had actually caused him a lot of additional discomfort and so I really wish I’d known to get them but I will from now on and hopefully these straws will somehow become mainstream in hospitals and related fields.We are still amazed every time it promptly “cures†the hiccups. My SO has tried so many different remedies (granted, I’m not sure he’s ever found another product that claimed to do what this one does so I think it’s just been stuff he found online to try when hiccups hit him) and this is the only thing that has worked. The fact that I’m writing a long review means that it impacted us, positively in this case, enough that I felt I needed to share our experiences with those considering because it has just been such a huge help to us. I recommend this to anyone who is seeking relief and hasn’t gotten results elsewhere. I HATE HICCUPS. my hiccups are always forceful to the point of being pretty painful. So when I saw this product on some influencer’s page thru Pinterest (don’t laugh, they got me) I was thinking for the price, this better work. But this pleasantly surprised me. This worked in under 5 seconds, 1st try.I used to swear by a heaping spoonful of peanut butter to cure hiccups. It almost always works. But this was instantaneous. I was pretty impressed. Def recommend.

I get frequent hiccups, that often take a full 1-2 days to resolve. I’ve tried ALL the tricks: holding my breath, spoonful of peanut butter, drinking from a cup upside down, someone startling me, etc… nothing has worked. Until this magical straw!!! Yes I’m coming back 2 years later to write a review, because I want the world to know! For anyone with chronic hiccups, you know how much they can disrupt your life. I drink one glass of water with this straw, and they immediately disappear. Amazing!!! It sounds dramatic, but I am legit so thankful for this straw!

I was a bit sceptical that this would work and don't get hiccups very often but when I do they make me feel nauseous and I struggle to get rid of them. I got hiccups a few days ago and pulled this out the medicine cupboard. The instructions were easy to understand and after following them the hiccups stopped straight away. I am a very happy bunny and would highly recommend them for everyone to keep in their medicine cupboard.
