I am telling you this is one of the finer joys in life. I do not use it on a seat cushion. I use it at the foot of my nectar twin xl bed for my feet. It gets too hot for me to turn it up past the initial setting. As a bed warmer tho? It’s kick ass. Turn it on before bed and it’s nice and warm. Yes it has bright lights but they’re only on for a moment and there’s a very soft beep to let you know it’s on. The cord was just long enough to reach from the foot of my bed to the head of the bed ran down the side of the mattress to the floor. The timer seems okay to me, tho I wish I could adjust this specific feature to my liking. The lowest setting stays on for several hours, which is about 2 too many hours for me. That’s okay tho. I feel like $50 is a good price point as long as it lasts for longer than a year. It does shift around a little but it’s not that serious to readjust it a bit. All and all this is the best way to feel like super comfy for me. I use it all the time and hope this product stays around for years to come as I will gift them to people later.

I have looked for a good quality bed foot warmer for some time, and this is the first practical solution I have found. It stays in place well, and gets warm enough all my cats want to lay on it. It covers the bed up high enough it is really effective for feet, but does not go so high my calves get hot.I love that it has wireless a remote control, and lots of setting levels. My 5 star rating is because it looks and works as described in the product description.I have two criticisms. First, that I can't pre-program how long it stays on for--there's an auto shut off after a set number of hours based on how high the temperature setting is. I'd prefer to be able to control that myself. I'm debating getting a timer for the outlet to see if I can circumvent that.Second, the light from the control pad is bright enough it light up my whole room. They warn not to cover it, perhaps because of heat generation, but they really need to dim that light. I ended up shoving it under the bed, but it still lights up the room. As someone who sleeps with blackout curtains--I care about the amount of light. I don't have a solution for that yet.Still--a good quality warmer.

We waffled between three and four stars for this item, but chose four because it does work well.....too well. It heats up nice, but even at the lowest setting, it gets too warm. It's actually on the verge of being hot which makes it uncomfortable when your feet come in contact with the area over the pad. I can't even imagine putting it on a higher setting.

This company really puts their customers first! I needed a replacement cord and they sent within a week with no questions asked! Very impressed this day and age! This is a great product as well. Very soft and heats up quickly. Five star quality for sure!

PRO:- The fabric is very soft.- The first level of heat is adequate for me.- Having a bedside remote is nice if it works.CON:- Initially the light on the remote would turn off after a few minutes. That was a good thing because it was far too bright. A very small light to denote power would be preferable and it would be helpful for it to remain lit on the nightstand.- The remote stopped working within a week or two of use. I tried removing the batteries and pairing the pieces again. It was NOT successful. Now the remote does not control the unit and the light stays on at all times. I finally just removed the batteries for good.- The unit shifts often. It definitely can bunch up before a week passes.- I am often frustrated that the unit automatically turns off before I want it to turn off.- The level of brightness from the remote is far too high.- Finally and most annoyingly, the light on the cord is lit on the top, the sides and the bottom. This thing is so bright that it lights up the room. This is in a word ridiculous. It does not contribute to having an appropriate level of darkness for winding down and sleeping. I have tried pushing it under the bed, blocking the light by placing items strategically around the bed etc. I am not exaggerating, the thing is a major annoyance that has lead me to laughable and disappointing attempts to mitigate the brightness. I finally gave up for fear that trying to block the light might lead to some kind of hazard.

I can't recommend this product. It took forever to heat up, and the heat was very subdued. I had to use the highest setting to get any kind of heat from it at all. I'm returning it. I had been using a large flat heating pad under the top sheet to get the same effect and it is FAR quicker to heat and warmer - takes only a few minutes and the lightest setting is more than enough for a foot warmer.
