I worked at an independent motorcycle repair business for 14 years. We sold OEM Honda and Suzuki Filters plus the popular F---m brand, K&N and HiFlo Filtro branded filters. The HiFlo Filtros were well made and equaled or exceeded the OEM filters (which were almost randomly made by various manufacturers at different factories around the globe.) Placed side by side, filters from different lots made by F brand were visibly of different construction and quality. No so the H-Flo. They are well made and we strongly suspected they make oil filters for K&N. The internal medium and end plates were virtually identical. Even the part numbers are similar: HF204/KN204. The K&N has the stamped metal 17mm "nut" on the end to aid in installation where the HiFlo does not. Aside from that, the price difference is a plus for the virtually identical HiFlo.

HiFlo makes a solid filter, and these are no exception. Good materials and welds, though I don't know if I trust their "nut ended" filters. Ones in that style have had issues with leaky nut welds from multiple brands (though I suspect it may be from some users installing with the welded nut).These come prepacked and sealed with grease on the sealing ring which is convenient. I've yetto have one get stuck on the engine when installed with "normal" torque as well.These do tend to cost a bit more in single packs, though the Blackstone oil reports have generally been very clean.

The Hiflofiltro oil and air filters are as good or better than OEM. I use Hiflofiltro oil and air filters on all of my motorcycles.

Highly rated by Triumph owners. Bike people don't like to use crap on their expensive machines. This filter is obviously high quality.

If you can catch a sale, these filters are well made. Equal to OEM, and less money in most cases.
