INSTRUCTION:
- Put the Spotting scope onto the Platform of Tripod and Screw it tightly.
- To make an approximate sighting of the instrument, adjust the Lever that allows the scope to rotate on its central axis.
- Turn the Zoom power down to 20X, rotate the Focus Ring until you have obtained the clearest image possible.
- Rotate the Zoom Ring in order to vary the magnification from 20X-60X. Increased magnification requires adjustment of the Focus ring.
NOTES:
- Please turn out the movable eyepiece cup when you are without glasses, and turn in the movable eyepiece cup when you are with glasses.
- Always begin viewing at a low magnification and increase steadily until the best magnification, compatible with the observed subject and its environment is achieved.
- With an increased magnification there is a decrease in luminosity and a reduction of the magnified area.
HOW TO USE THE UNIVERSAL SMARTPHONE ADAPTER
- This Spotting scope comes with a universal Smartphone Adapter that can be compatible with Telescope, Binoculars, Monocular, Spotting Scope and Microscope. You can capture images and video through this spotting scope and it is very easy to use.
- Step 1: Mount the clamp to the eyepiece of your spotting scope.
- Step 2: Adjust the phone holder and fix your cell phone into the adapter, center your phone's camera over the eyepiece, and use the knobs to secure the adapter in place.
- Step 3: Adjust the focus ring of the spotting scope to ensure that you can see clear image on your phone, then zoom the camera to be full screen.
- NOTE: The image you see from the phone at the beginning is just a small circle size, you can zoom the phone camera to see the full screen image.

If your lookng for an inexpensive spotting scope you will not be disappointed with this one. The eye relief is close and if you wear glasses you'll want to remove them but you can easily get a full view from low to high magnification. It focuses very smoothly at all magnifications. The power adjustment works smoothly as well. Be sure there's enough distance at full power. I typically use 30x at 100yds to see 22 cal holes. I'm a range safety officer so I get to try out a lot of spotting scopes. I think you'd need to spend more that $200 to get sometihng noticably better.

The zoom is easy to use with one hand. You can search for the object in low power, then quickly zoom and focus onto the subject. It's great for wildlife and would be great for sporting events too. There's a tripod mount.

First the pros : 1) excellent price 2) nice design 3) comes with 2 cases 4) decent clarity . Cons : on mine , the cel phone holder / adapter is pure junk . It just secures to the monocular by just slipping over the eye piece.( the eye piece is also adjustable in and out for eye relief . On mine , this adjusts too easily causing it to move in and out with almost no pressure - not good ) Also the phone bracket doesn’t fit the eye piece snuggly , so the entire bracket just falls off with your phone . Just throw it out ! On mine , there seems to be a smudge inside on a lens . No matter how hard you try to focus , there’s always a blurry spot on one side . Now if the blurry spot wasn’t present , I’d add 1 star . If my phone holder wasn’t defective/ poorly manufactured , I’d add another star . That would make this a 5 star purchase ! But my honest review of what I received is 3 stars . Too bad . I’m not sure I’d buy this again based on what mine is like .

Pleased with scope. A little hard to get the adjustments to tighten down and keep scope set accurately but it works well. Had very little luck using my phone attached to the scope for magnified pictures but I didn't buy it for that purpose so that is ok. I'm sure it is the operator more than the scope.

For what it is, it's a good product. I should have bought one with lower magnification at the low end. It wil reach out farther than I need. Good product though.
