Insert the grease cartridge
TIP: Always make sure that you’re storing your grease cartridge cap size down so that gravity does not create air bubbles
Screw the head assembly back on the cylinder
TIP: when it;s tight,then go back about half a urn so you can let the air out
Release the plunger by pushing the tab, which is going to push the grease in
Now,it’s ready to lubricate
Note:
If you have a difficult time pumping the grease the first time you use it, you might have an air pocket. To remove air pockets, slightly loosen the top of the canister by a few twists and try pumping until the grease starts flowing. Then tighten.
If there is grease left in your grease gun, there is no special storage method needed. You can leave the grease gun loaded with grease as is and it will be ready for use. Keeping grease in the grease gun will not damage the product in any way.
To operate the plunger and T handle simply pull it back and it will automatically lock. Load your grease and then push on the tab to unlock and push the plunger into the grease. Sometimes twisting the t handle will also release the plunger.
Important!
When you want to remove the nozzle from zerk fitting, it will be so hard to remove it.
Please follow below steps, then you can remove the nozzle easily---
1. Untighten the hose or nozzle a little bit(this step unload the kept pressure in the
hose/nozzle)
2. Remove the nozzle from the zerk fitting easily.
The issue is a nature of the regular grease gun and regular nozzle, it is caused by the kept pressure in the hose/nozzle which will make the coupler clamp the zerk fitting tightly still, as long as there is no kept pressure in the hose/coupler, it will be easy for the user to remove the hose/nozzle from zerk fitting.

The T handle plunger locks with a angled grip on the shaft like a caulk gun, instead of a notch on the shaft. The angle grip keeps the plunger from going back in in intermediate positions, making it much easier to pull out.It works fine and the price is good.The instructions are for the old notch on the shaft kind - don't be confused. Better don't read the instructions unless you don't know to load a grease gun. And the instructions are hard to understand.The nipple attachment is included in spite of what the instructions say.

I have used this once so far and it was easy to use and got the job done. It seems to be a quality product and should last me a long time. I'm very happy with this purchase. My only small negative is that the written instructions were limited and not very helpful. I watched a YouTube video about how to set up and load a grease gun and that made the process easy.

This was much less expensive than many models. I decided to try as budget so tight with this super inflation. So glad i did. Super easy to assemble and load. Seem very good quality. Had read people had problems with it not letting go of nipple. I have greased boat trailer axels, trailer axels and door hinges, along w/ lawn mower, etc. So used on many different items NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS OR IT NOT WANTING TO RELEASE OFF NIPPLE FITTING. If need a lube gun this one you should try. So glad i did. Works grear & saved bunch of money!!

Review Update -- Jul/2024I really haven't had a chance to use this gun other than setup and a few quick squirts. While the gun was stored (hung vertical), grease started seeping out of both ends -- pretty much every place grease could get out. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement unit within days. Great customer service -- hoping this one works better.--------------Original Review:Set up went well. I decided to change the hose port, which required a 9/16" wrench and 3/16" allen. Easy to do. I also took the advice of one of the reviewers and wiped off the threads for the top and body, and top 1" inside the body (above the plunger). I took the bottom cap off the cartridge, put it in, removed the "pop top" from the top end, screwed on the top of the grease gun, then pushed the plunger in. (I'm still trying to figure out how the plunger went all the way in when the cartridge was supposedly full -- I might be disappointed later...) I kept pumping the handle until I got grease to squirt out. Pretty easy.

Purchased this last night got delivered this morning, it was the cheapest grease gun I could find on sale on Amazon. I put red and tacky number two into it from Lucas when I pulled back the plunger to lock and load the Lucas the spring released and shot the entire Lucas grease up and out. Make sure you lock the spring in other than that needed to pump it about 15 or 20 times before grease started coming through. The end of the grease line locked well onto the nipple. A little bit of grease squeezed out of some of the fittings but eventually stopped very happy with the grease gun. I will probably own it for the next 20 years thank you Amazon did the trick.

Here's to problem: The first grease cartridge works great (notice most of these reviews say, "just bought it"). BUT when you need to change it out and put in a new one you'll learn that the plunger is very poorly made and a lot of the grease will be behind it making it very difficult to change the grease cartridge and also wasting grease and your time. I have a lot of grease guns so I know how they should work.Suggest: Spend a little more and get something that will last. Don't waste your money and time on this junk.

Using this product to grease trailer trailing arms and tow hitches. It comes with plenty of fittings that allow grease nipple and free dispensing. Robust and has plenty of filling options including cartridges. Grease nipple connection is a bit long so had some trouble accessing spring hangar joint nipples.
