Interface Connection
- G1/2 Female water inlet connects to the shower arm

Tips:
- Wrap a small amount of Teflon tape on the shower arm.
- Slightly tighten the nut by hand.
- Hold the diverter value by hand and adjust the horizontal position.
- Tighten the nut clockwise with a wrench.
- After installation, the diverter value will not oscillate randomly and is very firm.

This shower diverter valve (High Pressure All Metal 3 Way Shower Diverter Valve with Hand Shower Holder, G1/2 Shower Head Splitter, Shower Arm Diverter, Bathroom Universal Shower System Replacement Part (Brushed)) works as intended. I had another one that wasn't working properly after many years so I decided to give this one a try. It works exactly the same way as I have a showerhead and also a handheld one. This one has a much smoother handle to switch between the two shower heads or have them both work at the same time. It was easy to install and it included a small roll of teflon tape to ensure it doesn't leak. Always use the teflon tape and you won't have issues with leaks or the seal.The water pressure doesn't seem much different than my other one except it may be slightly better since it's newer and doesn't have all the mineral deposits, we have hard water in the city. The color is nice and works to blend in with my other fixtures. I like it and it is working well, I especially like that I can angle the handheld to be optimal, I'm glad I was able to get this to try out.

We have a shower diverter in the upstairs bathroom and wanted one for downstairs. Most of the time, we use the showerhead but occasionally I like to use the handheld head for targeted washing, like rinsing out the tub or bathing our preschoolers.The build quality of this diverter is very good. It feels heavy and solid. I also like the big handle. It makes it easy to see which mode it's in. I love the way the handle clicks into place with at each position (haptic feedback). The holder clamp can be rotated to any angle you need. It's tight, so you may need to exert a bit of force to twist it.I have no doubt that this will last a lifetime.

Leaks horribly and I am not sure why. I used the teflon tape and did everything right. I'll try to use some new gaskets and see if it makes any difference. I will say that it is a solid piece of plumbing hardware, however. Will report back after I get new gaskets/washere. Stay tuned...

This diverter valve looks, feels and works great. It does keep your water pressure high if you already have high water pressure which I do. I can’t speak to if it would increase water pressure if it’s low, but it works great for me. It feels and looks high quality and was very easy to install and even came with some ptfe tape to seal all threaded connections. For the price this is a great deal. Recommended
