I purchased this unit to use with brewing beer and other cooking needs. What a monster!! Built solid and has an awesome flame. Control works good and can really tune in the temperature.

I bought this for my Son that roasts Coffee beans as a side line. It gets extremely hot perfect for his roaster. Before he could only 4-5 pounds of coffee or cocoa beans now he can roast 10 pounds at a time in less time. It would be also excellent for cooking a Turkey in hot oil and much more. You can easily adjust the temperature to suit whatever your project is

This was such good size and so powerful but unfortunately it stopped working after the first use. I was hearing a "boom" sound and was shutting itself off. It was so scary. The whole yard was full of gas smell.

Seems well built and sturdy. I bought for outdoor cooking with a wok and so far I have been impressed with this unit for heat output for the price.

Compact and portable. I love using this to cook catfish. Mind you it is very low to the ground.

Honestly - never used this because I wanted it for multiple purposes. Flat-bottom cookware like cast iron pans and soup pots. But I also needed something that would work with a big wok. That's something my old burner does well due to its design - don't need to pull out a wok ring and loose distance from the heat source. This unit appears to be well made but at 30 lbs. is a bit much to move around my back porch.If you do deep fried turkeys and big crab or fish boils it might work for you. For me it just did not fit my needs.
