Goes on incredibly easy; instructions may be correct with new jack, but older ones must have the horn face windshield or you contact the hood with the mechanical portion of the jack.Nice packaging. Sturdy. Simple. Definitely worth the money.

I've been using this mounting system on my 2018 JLUR . Easy to mount, no rattles, easy to remove. Hood opens fully, washer fluid sprayers work correctly. Overall, nice setup and jeeps the jack in a safe spot.

I got this for my JLUR. It fits fine. I'm getting another set for my JK. Windshield washer fluid just clears the jack. Check your jack orientation because you can block it if you get it wrong. The hood opens farther than the hood prop, so no problem there, either. Of course, it won't open all the way to the windshield.

This mount is the improved set that allows for the use of the windshield fluid without hitting the jack on a JK. It's easy to install, but there are no instructions. It includes a little plastic piece with a wire lanyard that is placed through the thread between the jack and the metal knob, but I have no idea what it does or it's intended function. I looked on youtube to figure out how to put it in place cause I thought I was doing it wrong, but no one mentioned what it was for.I installed the mount on a 2014 Rubicon and went off road. There was no rattle or movement of the jack from what I could see. This might not be the best place to mount a jack being that's a bit heavy and one could potentially scratch the hood taking it off or putting it on, but the mount itself is solid. In order to remove the painted hood screws without scratching, I wrapped my torx key in a piece of plastic bag. The mount comes with rubber grommets that are placed between the hood and the aluminum mount. I found that once the screws are tightened, the rubber is smashed and becomes a very thin layer between meta to metal. For additional protection, I added 1/2" pipe foam. I cut it out to match the base of the mount and placed it between the base and the grommets. I also added a bit of Loctite Blue (removable) to the screws to make sure they didn't come back out due to vibrations.I bought the locking knob separately, which is kind of flimsy, but the only solution to locking the jack. I've had no issue opening my hood either, it doesn't hit the windshield. I wanted to protect the lifting assembly and bought the marine grade vinyl jack cover that replaced the neoprene cover. This prevented access to the holes on the bar normally used for mounting. I had to jack the lifting assembly up a bit, which worked but now one of the windshield nozzles hits the jack.I installed this mount on a Gladiator and although it fit fine, the hood hinges are wider and the 48" jack doesn't go on as smoothly. Instead of using 2 holes on the bar, I had to use one hole on the bar as far down as possible and the hole on the top clevis along with a 1" washer. It's still very secure. I've had no issues with it on here either.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, very strong and secure.

This is not for a 2013 JK. Install the jack and it blocks the washer fluid from hitting the windshield. It shoots right into the jack.

I like this as it is solid. i used it to mount my jack in the bed of my truck on the side wall. it holds a full 60 inch jack with no sag. hardware looks good and sturdy.
