I've had to replace the plastic hood prop retainer on my Jeep a couple of times.The heat under the hood makes the plastic brittle over time and it cracks, making your hood prop flop around.This is a permanent replacement.Good instructions, installs easily, and will undoubtedly last FAR longer than the plastic one it replaced.
