I bought a used 2006 F150 FX4 with this part missing. This fit right in and very easy and quick install. Unlike before, now I can feel and hear click or pop when I pull the lever to release the hood.

These bumpers fit, and they are doing the job. As you can see in my picture, there are definite differences, but “Hey! It ain’t the space shuttle!†and they are certainly close enough. The old ones just get pried out, don’t worry, they’ll break long before the core support does, just pry them. They pop right in easily, and then just adjust them so they put enough pressure to pop the hood up and are even. My only concerns are that they are a bit loose and may “self adjust†and that they are a little less sturdy than OEM. If you have another 100k miles in your vehicle, maybe get the Ford versions. I’m sure these will last plenty long enough though.

Well made, quick and easy inslall with simple adjustment to correct height.Both originals in my Ranger were very worn out and the passenger side had broken clip.The replacements were perfect.

So far so good. I only needed the threaded shaft and rubber end. I bought Ford reproductiona and after sticking to the closed hood then pulling off of the bolt/nut head when i opened the hood next, i soon lost the rubber pieces. Took one star off because in the advertised picture it shows melted/molded rubber onto the bolt however not the case its like the Ford ones kind of like a mushroom stretched over the bolt head but they seem pretty tight and priced cheaper than the loose repo's offered online by the Ford restoration sellers.
