I recently purchased the Hillman 123142 Galvanized Solid Wire (#18 x 100'), and it’s been perfect for my project! I used it on the exterior of my home to create a support system for my bougainvillea to climb, and it worked wonderfully. The wire is strong and durable, yet surprisingly easy to work with. It’s flexible enough to shape as needed but sturdy enough to hold up under tension and support the weight of the plant. The galvanized coating ensures it won’t rust, which is especially important for outdoor use. Setting it up was simple, and once in place, it blended seamlessly into the background, letting the beauty of the bougainvillea shine through.I’m impressed with how well this wire holds up against the elements and how reliable it’s been for my climbing plant. If you need a strong, easy-to-use wire for outdoor projects, I highly recommend this one!

I really like the ease of twisting and snipping this wire. I have it connecting the hardware cloth to my chicken run. Holds strong! Great value and an excellent product!

I have used this wire for repairing split hammer handles and also with a wire clamp tool for repairing garden hoses. 100 feet is enough for many repairs, and this galvanized wire has many potential uses in the shop or garden.

You get what you order it’s no better or worse than anybody else’s, but it seems to do the job

I got this wire to help make sturdy horns for a mask in progress. For my purpose, I found it to be incredibly strong and durable! It held its shape very well while the horns were being sculpted, withstanding the weight of both tinful armatures and layers of drying foam clay. I'll be using it plenty going forward to help me create durable, well-crafted horns and armatures!

I needed a bit of thin, strong wire to support my upstart grape vines.. looks nice, easy to cut and "wrap" at ends.
