Hillman 370075 Toggle Bolt, 1/4X6-Inch, 50-Pack

Toggle bolts come with spring-action wings and are intended for anchoring into hollow walls. The wing is designed to spread apart behind the base material upon installation for firm hold in hollow wall applications. The wing disperses the weight of the secured item over a larger area, increasing the weight that can be secured compared to a regular bolt.

Perfect bolts for what I needed. I just wish they made a 10" version. I needed to finish a ceiling using fiberglass sheeting and anchoring the sheeting to 4" foam insulation. I've used over 200 of these toggle bolts so far and every one has been perfectly machined, threads match toggles, and not a single problem. I just wish these were carried locally because I keep running out.

The product came practically next day. Everything boxed in the exact quantity/count.I'm restoring a 75 year old farm house. I'm attaching upper plate lines onto 3 chambered clay tile brick. These toggle bolts are the least expensive safe and secure way I know to make sure this roof doesn't blow away in this Texas wind. I trust Hillman for their metal content in each bolt and nut they manufacturer. I live 80 miles one way from the nearest citiplex. I shop Amazon for all my fixtures and fasteners. Saves me time and money. I'm a farm shopper100%!

I've used these toggle bolts in a variety of situations -- including holding wood on to a metal stud -- and they've always held and been easy to use. Recommended.

Used to anchor 2X4's to a concrete wall. Need to drill the hole about 1/2 inch deep in the 2X4 so the butterfly would lock in my concrete. (I knew this before I purchased) Excellent product....and great price.

I used bout 6 of the butterfly to put up a floating shelf and 4 of them didn't screw on the bolts. Good thing there r 50 in the box.
