These are strong, sturdy and pretty strong. Unfortunately the ones I got didn’t work. They were to small. I needed 3/8” but got like 1/4” box said 3/8” so I don’t know if they run smaller than what you need or what. Seller is great to work with and have no problems trying to return them. In fact they said not to worry about it. An A++++ seller. If you do need a certain size I recommend to order a couple sizes up.

On the box: Hillman 59732 spring action hose clamps 3/8" Made in USA UPC 008236890020 In the box: 20 hose clamps, painted black steelThis is a box of small painted steel spring action hose or tubing clamps, also known as constant tension clamps. If you went to your local hardware store where they have the Hillman bins with the assortments of nuts, bolts, screws and fasteners these clamps would be one of those boxes. I was very frustrated at the sizing of these clamps as it was difficult to find the actual min/max dimensions (these clamps have a very small size range as they only expand about .07-.10"). I bought an assortment and this is what I measured them at:59732 - 3/8" size - .31-.38"59733 - 7/16" size - .39-.47"59734 - 1/2" size - .45-.53"59735 - 9/16" size - .52-.62"59736 - 5/8" size - .57-.67"Fully open these clamps go slightly out of round, I measured on the small side. If you are placing the clamps over a barbed fitting make allowance for the extra hose expansion at the barb, you may have to go a size up. Hope this is helpful.

The hose clamp is cheap and bent out of shape immediately. They are so fragile you can bend them with your fingers. This is false advertising. The clamp that they ship you is not the clamp they are advertising. DO NOT BUY

Again, although I purchased these and they were too small for my project, they are a well constructed, very useful product. I will hold on to them, because I'm sure I'll have a need for them in the future. I do a lot of automotive DIY.

I use them on 3/8” silicone food grade tubing. They provide just about the perfect amount of clamping force to seal things up without deforming the tubing which is pretty soft.

This product will fit over 3/8 tubing. However this product will not fit over 3/8 hose which is what it’s intended to be used for. If these companies can’t get this silly stuff right stop doing business with them! This is a constant tension clamp for 3/8 hose but 3/8 hose has a larger OD than 3/8 so why tf would this be marked as 3/8? Makes no sense.

real cheap metal, they crack so easy I wont trust these clamps on a car, maybe around the yard/house for low pressure applications

Did a good job of securing the mist hose.

Buyers.... be very careful when ordering this product. The product itself is quite good mechanically, BUT.... the seller lists it as a 3/8" hose clamp. What they don't tell you is they are stating the O.D. of the clamp itself... and NOT the fuel line application these are typically used on. For example... a 3/8" fuel line is 3/8" I.D. on the hose, and the wall thickness of the hose is added on-top of that measurement. When you buy 3/8" fuel line spring clamps from an automotive parts supply store... you get clamps that will work with 3/8" fuel line. These clamps however are made for much smaller O.D. hose applications. Be mindful of that when ordering these clamps.... I found out the hard way by ordering them and laughing at them when I received them. Not impressed.
