This is the one needed for the Geddy Lee Signature USA bass. This bass has the reverse tuners. Installs easily and works great with a little adjustment learning curve. I have them on all my 4 string basses, just never know when that low D will come handy. This is a solid made piece of hardware and looks good.

I have this fitted to my Marcus Miller jazz bass, it was easy to install, it fitted up perfectly, screw holes lined up and is in keeping with the tuning pegs, adjustment was a little fiddly between E and D at first, but now it becomes 2nd nature and requires little adjustment to keep it in tune,happy I installed it.

No bass player should gig without a Hipshot BT3 Xtender Key. I have mine set to D; that is, when I flip the lever my E string goes down to a perfectly tuned D note (Will Lee sets his Hipshot to C). Thus, one can access greater range without resorting to a five string bass. It is really easy to install yourself and comes with detailed instructions.

Works great. Looks great. However the plate that screws to the head stock doesn't quite line up, and is slightly to large. Required some cutting and drilling.

I bought this for my Fender Classic Series 50s Precision Bass. It's a modern, made in Mexico, built to Fender 1950s specs, P bass with the reverse wind tuners, honey blonde finish, maple board. Even though it fits many made in Mexico Fenders, don't order the BT7 if you have one of these basses! These are built to 1950s specs and you need the BT3! This is THE one to get! I consider it a must have! It works great! If you follow the instructions, it's a breeze to install. I recommend this highly!

Not sure what the guy above is saying about the Geddy Lee Signature,I have that bass.Went to put it on the other day. It’s not even close. The screw holes don’t even line up and the tuning peg is on the wrong size.It will not fit the Geddy.
