Found a steal on this one, I have to admit I was a little worried when I saw that some of the reviews talked about difficulty with assembly, but it wasn’t bad at all. And yes there were directions too :)

Excellent rack. Attaches to vehicle mounted trailer hitch easily and securely. Holds bikes securely. Rides with minimum sway or bumping. Folds easily for storage.

I’d let you know it holds my bike but I’m afraid after 5 hours of excruciating hell trying to assemble the bloody thing, I’m out of steam. The directions are garbage. There’s not a single video online of this exact model. My teenager and I are no longer speaking, so if you’re looking for an easy out of a relationship, then I highly recommend trying to put this thing together with your soon to be ex.I have no idea if it’s sturdy…it wobbles. Is it supposed to? Can’t say, because the instructions sure don’t give any clues. There were two extra bolts. Do I need them or are they actually extra? They weren’t mentioned in the itemized list of parts.Good luck, if you get this thing. Those reviewers that said “easy assembly†must work at a bike shop because t’aint the case.

Ordered this to carry my e-bike that weighs 80 lb. The rack seems to be very well made and the nice thing is it tips down so that I can get into my camper shell with the bike on the rack.

I like that we can carry our Lectric e bikes it works with the 3.0 step thru using the strap that comes with it and the center bar folds down making it easier to load the front bike we are using this on a Jeep Wrangler with the spare tire and don’t have to add an extension, easy to put on Jeep and not heavy plus it’s heavy duty enough we don’t have to worry about our bikes wobbling around a lot. The advantage of being able to adjust the tire carrier gives the option to carry different bikes 4 stars because it rained the first time we used it and had a few places of surface rust around the welded parts

Getting the bike rack put together was a nightmare. The instructions aren’t clear and none of the parts are labeled, that was the first hurdle. Putting the bikes on the rack itself isn’t too bad and it does work to hold the bikes on. The next issue is the pins that you are supposed to pull in and out to make it collapse. Most of the holes on the metal bars do not line up so when trying to insert the pins you have to jiggle the whole thing continuously for a few minutes until you can will it to do what you want. I would NOT buy this rack again. Using it is an extreme pain every time so it is not easy or quick anytime we want to load up the bikes.

I like the product and think it's well built. The only thing is I would like the centre post with the padded hooks that secures to the cross bar of your bike to be another 6" longer. My bike frame is a medium and I'm near the top of the post with only a couple of holes left.
