A must have for their self-adhesive LED light strips. A little hard to insert the end of the lighting strip but take your time and it works great.

I am just you average homeowner/diyer with some knowledge in electrical. What i can say about this product is that it does work. Is it a fantastic, high quality product? No.When i first used it, i could not get it to work at all. It is difficult to get the tape under the tabs without wrecking it. With a little trial and error and a couple cuss words i got it to work. Just be careful and take your time and it will work just fine.

Delivered on time. Used these to Install strip lights in a friends bar. Looked great and good price. If your going to hook up more than one roll make sure you get the right power adapter. Remove tape from the strip lights before inserting into the connector and they slide in there tight underneath the prongs. Don't just lay the strip in there and snap it shut!!! It took me a minute to figure that out, I also kept leaving the damn tape on the bottom and was kicking myself in the ass for an hour. You can also cut these and use your own wire to extend them. So just buy these six incher's with a roll of wire and customize them to your own length.

I've never done anything with LED lighting or wiring lighting before. When I first started with these I became so frustrated. The leads inside the clips were so tight that the LED strip would "buckle" and "bunch up" when I attempted to slide the ribbon under them. I watched a few videos on youtube. Here's what I would recommend if you're having the same problem.1) Peel just enough of the adhesive backing off of the LED strip such that the amount peeled off is equal to the space you'll need to tuck it into the jumper. In other words, peel just enough off that it'll fit in the jumper.2) Wiggle. Wiggle that sucker. Wiggle it slowly left and right, eventually it will slide under the leads. Keep wiggling until the contacts are well under the leads and then snap the connector shut.3) Keep everything plugged in. You won't hurt yourself. You can grab the exposed positive and negative end on a plugged in strip and you won't electrocute yourself. This is important because you DO NOT want to keep opening and closing the connector attempting to re-seat a connection. It puts little divits in the leads on the LED strip and makes it harder and harder for them to conduct. If at all possible you want to slide the LED strip into the connector (while plugged in) wiggle it until it is properly seated, and then snap it shut.Hope that helps.

Item worked great use these to create a daisy chain of led lights under my tool box for a soft red glow. Had to snip them and extend the wires. Wires cut, crimp, and solder well. I will warn the wires are very very small they have to be like 24 gauge they are hard to do normal crimps. There also touchy to solder but the actual copper itself takes solder very well. Also have to pay attention to polarity when hooking up connectors. I had to reverse my wires on one set. Overall I would buy again. My only gripe I wish the wire was a little longer

These connectors do NOT connect. They do not work. I will be returning them for a refund.Sheerness.... what does that even mean? Oh well I gave it a zero too.Value for money. Well, since they do not work they have zero value and are a waste of money and more importantly a waste of time to experience a product that does not do what I bought it to do. Now if have to mess around with sending it back. What a hassle!I fiddled with the connectors again. This is what I recommend. Do NOT cut the lights on the cut line which leaves equal parts of the copper connection points on both haves. Cut it to leave almost ALL of the copper to connect under the metal tabs. This gives the most area to use as a contact point. It works very well. I also tried shimming the strip to make it thicker as others suggested and sometimes got that to work. But a wrong wiggle and the lights go off. Poor connection! So I recommend cutting to the far side of the connector tabs instead of down the middle. Even with wiggles the connection is solid. I have my new string attached to the first set I ordered and have them plugged in my room. They go around the wall and out to the hall. Up over and around the washer and dryer in it’s closet area lighting our hall across from the bathroom. I turn it down as a night light so I have a faint glow to get up and use the restroom in the night. A better product would be one that comes on automatically low light And STAYS ON VIA A backup battery during a power outage. I will do a search for such lights. I give the product only three stars because you have to fiddle with it and NOT FOLLOW the directions (video) to get it to work.

Sure beats soldering onto those itty, bitty soldering pads on the end of LED ribbon. I've been cutting these in half and using them as leads to solder on longer wires to reach power supplies and switches. Takes a little efforts to get the LED tape I used to slide under the contacts, but once in and the clip is shut, it's not going anywhere. Do be careful when opening the clip and it hinges on plastic. I broke one trying to get it open. There are plenty in the package, so I wasn't too worried, I expected to have some issues at this price, but they are great for the price.
