This is a well-made, real metal tool. The head is at an excellent angle for weeding or tilling. The three sections screw in easily and securely, so you can make it as long or short as you need. I usually use the shortest section only. It's a good weight. I don't think it would be too heavy for most people with the additional sections added.

This really works for clearing most weeds although the deep rooted weeds will only get their tops cut off. It somehow is able to pull the weeds but not rip up the grass. It’s a very cool gadget.

For my use, this tool isn't designed to pull through the thickets of newly sprouted grass in wet clay soil that I want to get rid of. Due to the angle of the rake blade, it clumps up and the mud cakes on the end so I have to use my hands to clear the weed and mud clods each time I use it. Also, the handle screws come loose when even a moderate amount of force is used. The pointed side is a bit better as a hoe or for loosening soil so it's not entirely useless but it's not as versatile as advertised in practice. This might be fine for very light use on loose soil but not for clearing large areas. I'm still keeping it regardless but wouldn't recommend this if you want to use it for anything other than maintenance weeding.

I got this today and put it together and used it right away. IT was easy to assemble and came with the required tools too. I used it to weed a garden bed that was full of small weeds. This tool made quick work of the weeds. Pushing forward slices the roots and pulling back pulls up any remaining parts. The metal pole is comfortable and feels sturdy. I was concerned that it would be flimsy, but it is not. It feels strong and solid and does not bend while using the tool.

The treads on the handle pieces do not match the hoe end piece...the end piece is ribbed but not threaded. A pressure fit seemed adequate and resisted undoing until I demonstrated the "handle falling apart" feature on first swing [and with only one handle piece in place]. Using the end piece alone quickly proved that the angle of the fork made it useless, handle or no. The one thing I am grateful for is that the edges are NO WHERE NEAR sharp so I can use it to push aside stuff that is in the way before pulling by hand. Since my hands and knees will get dirty anyway, this amounts to demonstrating my perseverance and optimism to the neighbors.

Muy buen producto, levanta con facilidad la hierba y remueve la tierra sin tanto esfuerzo. Buen filo para cortar. Me encanta que puedes hacer el mango tan largo como te acomodes y sin necesidad de agacharse tanto. Trae tornillos y llaves para su armado. La única pregunta que queda en el aire es cuánto tiempo dura el filo de esta herramienta ojalá el fabricante pueda contestarnos.
