I used these on water pipes running along the ceiling in my furnace room. It eliminated the rattle I was getting.

This is an example of false advertising. These are not copper as claimed. Copper is not magnetic. It's true that it stated these are copper plated steel in the detailed description but the title doesn't mention that and most people probably don't read that and go by the title. I inadvertantly got these close to a magnetic parts tray and they were instantly pulled to the magnet. No wonder the ones I bought previously quickly rusted and some completely rusted away completely. I'm going to go to a big box store with a magnet and see if I can find real copper ones. Then I'll have to replace every one that I've installed. One other thing: The holes are too small for screws so if you want to use screws, as I do, these won't work unless you drill the holes out. But don't buy them anyway because they are thin and flimsy and they'll quickly rust out.

These worked for my intended purpose, but buyers should know they are less sturdy than those one would pick up at Home Depot or Ace Hardward (thinner material, lighter weight).

Never hang copper pipe with steel straps, because it creates electrolysis and will eventually eat a hole in your pipe!

If you are using 1/2" copper pipe, these fit perfectly to secure the pipe so it won't rattle. You must use copper straps for copper pipe so there is not a chemical reaction between different metals. Excellent price compared to local sources.

I don't know where you can get good copper anymore. These are very cheep and the holes are not hardly big enough for a small brad

They do what they are supposed to do at a lesser cost than you'd pay at one of the big hardware stores.

They worked good and were less expensive. They are copper covered steel.

They're not made of copper, it's copper-clad or copper-like-clad steel. Not sure how they going to fare in the long run. Disappointed
