Awful! It completely warps your sound. Rather than playing a middle F in first position, you play an F sharp. All the positions sound completely off. Its not useable at all. It may well be a trumpet mute. It is absolutely not a “professional muteâ€. No professional would use this.

This item does not lower the sound it only muffles a little. I have used other Mutes that were much quieter. Spend more on a better item
