Works great. Very sturdy and simple. I can attach the rack to my truck and have both bikes secured on the rack and ready to go in less than 5 min. The bikes are held steady and after a half dozen trips so far, the rack is not causing any damage or rubbing to the bikes. It's also not necessary to add a bunch of bungies to keep the bikes secured... they're held in place securely by the rack and the additional supplied strap is an added safety feature. It's nice to buy something that functions exactly the way it's supposed to.

I really like this rack because of its simplicity and its rigidity in holding my bike. I bought a brand new car and didn't want to scratch the paint so that is the main reason for buying. I have a fairly light ebike that I have been using and with the battery removed it makes it as light as most mountain bicycles. Has held up really well and is very straightforward using. Just a little work loading sometimes. Just be patient and their isn't a problem. I feel very confident with the way I tie everything up this is a very secure rack. Worth the cost vs the more expensive racks.

Just took this rack for a test run this weekend, 10 miles of highway. There were no issues. If you have any mechanical knowledge whatsoever, putting this rack together is a breeze. It fit well and seamlessly into the receiver on my 4runner. The bolt insured a tight hold. I am ready to take my trek wherever now. Yes it does not tilt backwards so you can access the tailgate with a bike on the rack. Still for the price and if you’re looking for a quality rack, pull the trigger on this one. I can look beyond the tilting though.One more thing. Kuat and Thule racks are huge. This is far more compact and easier to move and it won’t take up as much room when you take it off your vehicle.

I have owned several budget racks, but this is the best. Easy to assemble, lightweight, quality components, no complaints so far. Ideal for non-electric bikes. Highly recommended.

This is not a premium rack akin to the Kuat Sherpa, Kuat NV, Thule T2, Yakima Holdup, and others of the $500 and up range. This is a decent hitch-mount rack that isn’t perfect, but offers an incredible value at the price point around two hundred dollars.Securing or removing your bicycles isn’t quite as easy peasy as some of the premium racks. There’s two reasons these operations aren’t quite as nice. The first is the center mast with the frame clamps. This is less easy to use than clamps that secure a bike by the wheels. You may run into difficulties with water bottle cages. You may not. But regardless, the operations of placing or removing your bike is somewhat more challenging. The second reason it’s not as easy as the premium racks is that the wheel straps MIGHT not easily hold your wheels in place, depending on your tire sizes and the wheel span of your bicycle. This would definitely not be a good choice of rack for fat bike owners.Understanding these limitations, this rack is a tremendous value as a hitch mounted platform rack. The construction quality and powder coated finish are great. The ability to use the rack with smaller 1.25†hitches is appreciated (only size hitch available for my crossover), and the extra few minutes needed to secure my bicycles are certainly worth the fact that this rack is 1/3 the price of the premiums. It gets 4 stars for what it does. It’s decent with forgivable annoyances. 5 stars because of the high value factor.

The bike rack works well in my 2†hitch receiver. I like how the pin is threaded to tightly hold the hitch in place so it doesn’t rattle around. I feel that the bikes are secured well by the ratcheting straps. But…… the “lock†that comes with it is a joke. I can easily pull it right off with my bare hand. Another reviewer said the same thing but I figured it was a one off. I will probably return this, as I paid too much for an important part of the rack to be defective.

This didn’t have fancy features of more expensive racks but has just enough essential features to make it easy enough to use. Once you adjust the bottom tire cups and the vertical support bar to fit your bikes, loading and unloading can be done in a minute. It’s also sturdy, with no noticeable or concerning vibration during highway drives.

Better than expected and love the fact it os so light. I hang it on my garage wall when not in use. No rumbles or vibrations. I really like the wheel resting points.....which is what attracted me to this design. Locking pin is a bonus. I have used it about 10 times now and love it.My trunk still opens even if folded up. Cannot open trunk with bike on but that's not an issue for me....especially if you have folding seats or are taking your bike off anyway.Only other minor downside is that the mid point uses a strap and it is a little fidgety Vs those sliding type holders. The mid strap could clash with a bottlle cage holder so watch out. Mid strap might actually be more secure than the other sliding clamp method and reduce vibrations etc.
