These brackets are slightly shorter than the ones already installed on the preexisting railing opposite them. It is noticeable and the style is identical. I was impressed by the length of the screws that secure the bracket to the wall. They were quite long and hold well. This was good because for two screws out of 9 I had to use anchors. Everything is very sturdy and safe!

Great product. I replaced a set that broke off. These appear to be much stronger than the originals. They match the set I replaced exactly. Easy to install with a drill and correct bits.

Installed these in an older thick plaster wall using toggle bolts, then attached the wood handrail that I had previously stained ("red oak" was it?) with the supplied matching screws. It holds very strongly and firmly – certainly more than well enough to make everyone feel very secure.
