The drop cloths are perfect for curtains. They are 100% cotton with NO seams! I did wash mine on a heavy duty cycle and finished them with a "5X" fabric softener to create a soft, relaxed, shabby chic-like look and feel. I originally ordered a smaller size and prepared a test sample before opening the others. I'm glad I did because I ended up returning the unopened ones and ordered a size up. Be aware that these do shrink if dried on a high setting. I cannot speak to other drying methods or temps. I intentionally shrank mine as part of creating my desired look. The cloths shrank up an average of 1/2". The drying process also created an extraordinary amount of lint so I paused to empty the filter 2 times during each process. I also washed and dried only one drop cloth at a time (size 9 x 12.) I used the Amazon Basics blackout rods to create a wrapped look and to control the ruffles. I highly recommend these cloths for their look, durability, construction, and feel. Lastly, the price point is fabulous.

I ordered these for both creating simple shade structures with grommets and ropes, and to create a very basic piece of wall art. It's good canvas, sturdy. It likely wouldn't hold up to a hail storm, but is a quality item short of that.

Bought one of these to make curtains with. While the outer label says the dropcloth is cotton, the label attached to the cloth itself calls it "undetermined fiber-textile by-products" which is vague. The cloth took the dye well enough, so it seems to be mostly cotton at least. Does make a lot of lint when washed - I washed twice before dyeing and once after, with a full lint trap all three times. But overall, a successful experiment.

We live in a real-deal farmhouse. I didn’t want anything too dressy. I washed and ironed these before hanging, and I’m very happy with them. There are a few flaws here and there, but no seams, and can’t beat the price.

Worked very well as homespun fabric for crafts. Great price for the amount of fabric.

Water proofed it and turned it into a cover over one of my chicken runs. Pretty tough, holding up well so far.

Not 100% cotton. Tag says “unknown fabric†and cloth smells of chemicals when burned.
