I bought a pair of these for my Sketchers work boots that I have had for years now. I bought a two pack of laces for half this prices that are a 5/32" diameter or 3.97mm. They were made well enough and decent laces, but a smaller diameter than the originals which just did not work for me. They felt too thin in my hands and tended to come loose easier. Plus there was a lot more extra lace given the smaller diameter.I decided to pay the extra for these 4.55mm (60 inch) laces which feel a lot more like the originals. They are well made and look good...and they stay tied !!I get that a half a millimeter might not seem like much and not worth twice the price, but if you're a picky person like me...trust me...it does make a difference.

These work great for my work boots. They’re a little bit thick, which makes a couple of the loops on the boots a pain to lace up, but that also makes things feel a bit more secure. I also love that you can get these in so many colors. I was able to get a pair that match my boots perfectly. They’re excellent laces and stayed tied after walking 20+ miles in the snow and ice. I will definitely be buying these again.

Keep in mind I’m writing this review as I order another replacement pair for my boots. I really like these laces. They do exactly what they say, look great, and I’ve never had them get untied. I work as a first responder for a construction site, so durability is always important in all my clothing. I usually double knot my laces anyway, so they don’t get untied if they get caught on rebar or any debris.My only complaint is that the exterior still started to wear out similar to other laces I’ve gotten. After a year and a half, the exterior shell separated where it slides through a metal loop in my boot. This spot was a common cut spot for all my other laces, so it’s nothing new for me. The inner cord showed no wear and I can probably keep using them for a while longer if needed. For that reason only I’m taking away a star. Still, most other laces are destroyed beyond use by now.

Too big to fit the top lugs of several boots I tried them in. Iron Laces are thinner and fit, thogh more expensive. I guess I got what I paid for.

I’ve had these laces on my boots for less then 2 months and they are already deconstructing themselves. The lace material is fraying and I can see parts of the core string coming through the outer sheathing. Not worth how much they’re asking!! The original laces on these boots lasted 5 years.

Keine Kaufempfehlung, Lebensdauer nicht höher als bei normalen Schnürsenkeln ohne Kevlar, tatsächlich sogar kürzer als bei den original Schnürsenkeln die mit den Schuhen geliefert wurden. Die Ummantelung besteht offenbar nicht aus kevlar sondern wahrscheinlich aus Baumwolle somit sind die angepriesenen Eigenschaften der Kevlarfasern hier nutzlos.

These are great laces. My only complaint is price and availability. Bought two sets, and I’m very pleased. I like the colours and patterns offered. A wee bit on the expensive side, but it may be an algorithm issue with Amazon, so perhaps 5 stars for the product I received. They are solid in structure. Very little to no stretch. Tie very easily and hold their knots well. Again the colours are vibrant and solid, and the patterns are accurate to what’s advertised, but they look better in person. They’re on the thicker side, 3/16-1/4”.
