They look like the picture. My shoes slip on with ease. They are functional. The laces are comfortable.Basically, these work as advertised and are a good price. They are just laces. I had no issue with the length. Just cut them shorter, probably an inch and a half cut off. I lace shoes loosely. Im sure you will be fine if you get them.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU START!1. Lace the shoes like you would normally2. When it’s time to use the “pusher thing†to loosen/tighten, PUSH DOWN on the button, and then insert the shoe laces3. Adjust on the foot before you cut4. Cut off the ends so you’ll have a little extra room to slide beneath the bottom lace when you’re finished5. Burn the ends6. Most important - insert the ends of the laces into the hole of the clip and then fasten. I messed up trying to do it the wrong way and thought these laces were worthless. I’ve added a pic.Awesome laces! Perfect for kids who are growing out of Velcro but aren’t quite there yet tying their shoes.

Got them all laced up. They are a good length, the color is good, the clamp round thing works. What doesn’t work is the rectangular clamp thing. They don’t even snap closed with no laces in them, let alone with the laces in them. I got another brand for my work boots and those work like they’re supposed to. Hopefully they aren’t a necessity. I like the price and the variety of colors. The black ones didn’t work, maybe the other colors will be better, but the plastic just seems too soft to support a clamp clicking closed how it should.

Great price so now I can put them in all my laced shoes. There are no instructions but I came here and found some videos. I also googled how to lace tennis shoes because I knew there was a use for that extra hole at the top of the rows and couldn't remember what that was for. In that process I found a way to lace shoes for wide feet. My new shoes felt a little narrow but this method of lacing made them perfect. No problem so far with the latches not staying closed, but the ends of the ties could just be tied and still function as elastic shoe strings and not have to untie when putting on and off. The price is very low so you can't be too mad if the clips don't last forever. If you have big feet and need longer laces, you'll have to pay more! I loved the color choices, too.

My kid hates tying shoes, so I bought these.Super easy to add to any shoe, so I used them, myself, on my Adidas hiking boots, whose laces were wearing thin.Good product, quality and functionality. Just remember to measure properly because, once it's cut, you can't go back!
