It a great converter for 7 pin to 4 pin. It fixed my running lights also and I would have been happy with just the turn signal working.

Works for what I need it for. I have two trailers. One with a six-round and one with a 5 round. The adapter fits perfect in the 7 flat on all my trucks but it is only a 6 flat. It clearly says 7 flat even on the package. Without the center, I have no trailer brakes. I can rig it up but that defeats the advantage of the adapter. I have routes I can take which are slower but I still would have liked the description to have been correct.I did see several people say it has no retention. There should be a tab on the Truck connector cover that clips over the end of the adapter. If your's does not have this, bend a piece of aluminum, drill a hole and drive a screw to make an 'L' shaped clip on the end of the truck connector cover.

I was about to return this product until I realized that it says on the box that you may have to switch the black and blue wires. My trailer was locking up and going no where until I opened up the adapter and easily switch the wires. Works perfectly now! 2023 Tundra

The Multi-Tow adapter worked like a charm for me. It was advertised as used but came in the factory packaging and looked brand new. I had to tow a 6 pin horse trailer with my 7 pin Dodge and everything worked perfectly. The 12v aux power pin and the elec brake pin can be reversed in the adapter should it be necessary to change the pinout depending on your application. I haven't had the need to use the 4 pin adapter yet but I did ring it out with my voltmeter and everything registered as it should. All in all, a very good deal for less than $11 and a handy item to keep in my truck toolbox.

This adapter works okay, but lid broke upon first use. Although they are sending a replacement, they should double the thickness of the lid because the heavy spring used to keep the male connector latched will break the lid when unplugging male connector and allowing it to flip down.Functionally it works just fine, but beware of this issue.They are sending me a replacement.

This item was internally miss-wired.The electric brakes wpuld not work.Replaced it with competitors model ans everythingvworked fine.
