I bought the clippers awhile back and just love how they work. I bought this set of blades as an extra blade. I’d hate to be in middle of a clipping and blade be dull. It looks just like the blades on my clippers and they work great so I’m pleased with my purchase of clippers and extra blades.

We have an old mare with Cushngs disease that got an incredible thick coat. The person we have to clip our horses used the TAKEIT rather than her regular clipper and it did a fantastic job. I couldn't find the place to review the clipper itself so I am posting the review here.

I purchased clippers to help my Cushing's horse get rid of his overgrown hair for summer. The blades work great; however, it's pretty expensive as it took two sets to get all of his hair cut so he'd be cool in the summer months.

First of all - read the directions before use. Oil the clipper blades before use. Adjust the blades per the instructions.I only need the big clippers once a year to clip my horses belly, neck and girth area in the Spring. I didn't want to spend $400 on the Oster clippers. The quality of these clippers surprised me. I did not find them extremely heavy or loud. I didn't even have to use them on high to do the job. The clippers did not get hot but I was not doing a full body clip. Right out of the box I noticed the very long cord. Usually I have to use an extension cord to get around my horse. - very nice.So far they have worked perfect for my needs. I used them last night and I'm planning on doing some touch up with my smaller clippers and I will use the big clippers on the longer hair on his legs and then use the small clippers to tidy them up.I will update later on their durability.

I bought these blades for body clipping my horse. The blades were the correct size but only one side fit over the clipper attachment so they would not lock in. The opening in the other side was too narrow. I realized this after the return window so I am stuck with these defective blades.

The blades looked like my other horse clipping blades however they did not grab onto the Fur and cut smoothly. Basically it just chewed up the Horses coat and we were unable to proceed with the clip
