Clippers are as described, cut well thru thick cushings horse coat , did not get hot they are little loud but did not bother my horses , glad I found these clippers good price excellent product

My 19 year old horse refused to shed his winter coat- not excessively long or curly and not displaying any other Cushing’s symptoms, but maybe headed that way? This was our first go at full body clipping, but I’ve watched plenty of other people do it. These clippers took his hair off in record time. Yes, they are noisy and they got hot, but no worse than others I have seen. I tranquillized him to start since it was new for him, but even after that wore off the noise didn’t bother him. I stopped every 5 to 7 minutes to brush the hair off of them and check the vents were clean and apply more Cool Lube, and I had to stop three times for about 10 minutes to let them cool off, but I was running them on 6 the whole time. I did not find them to be unusually heavy or cumbersome, but I was going for function more than fashion. If this turns out to be an annual event (or more), I would not hesitate to buy a second pair so I could switch them out to cool. At this price I think it would be worth it.

Our oldest horse has Cushing’s syndrome and therefore does not shed her coat as she should. The vet recommended using a trimmer. My husband was able to trim her entirely in one afternoon. She had never been trimmed before and stood still during the whole process. She is much cooler now thanks to these wonderful clippers! Great value for the price!

This clipper worked flawlessly! It’s amazing and made really short work of shearing my goats. First time I’ve done so, and it was much easier than I expected. The clippers cut smoothly and were powerful enough for dense fine fleece. They leave a nice clean cut with absolutely no tracking lines. They work great on touch ups, clean faces and feet, as well as pads and sanitary areas. They are light and ergonomically friendly to your hands. A hard case is included which is nice for travel and keeping it well protected. Most other clippers just come in a box or drawstring bag.

I should have paid attention to other reviewers. This thing is so loud I wouldn't dare approach my horse. I ran them for about 12 seconds before starting the return process.

I bought these clippers for my older horse who has Cushings disease and wasn’t shedding his winter coat. These clippers worked great trimming his coat and allowing him to handle the summer heat. I would definitely recommend these clippers. Heavy duty enough to handle tough jobs.

You get what you pay for. It's pretty loud and heats up pretty quick but gets the job done just slower than a better set of clippers
