I bought this for my herding dog to play in the yard with. She knows "touch" means to boop with her nose and so first I taught her how to play with this ball (as opposed to fetch). After I inflated the ball and taught her this, she loved pushing it around with her head and paws, but unfortunately the fun only lasted for about 20 minutes. I kicked the ball lightely and she started chasing it but the ball hit something in the flower bed on a bounce and then deflated before she got there. I looked in the area and couldn't find anything remotely sharp, just mulch, basil, and rosemary. Pretty bummed for the cost of a heavy duty ball that can't even handle grass and flower beds. I wouldn't recommend to others looking for something for their dogs to herd unless it's inside and carpeted. Just not worth the money.

Ok so I know its not for dogs but this is the best purchase for a dog toy ever! My bully absolutely loves to play with this ball herding it and playing keep away. He loves it so much we have to take it away from him because he will go to the point of exhaustion, with his little legs quivering. I will say it needs a cover to keep him from tearing it up within 5 minutes like the rest of his toys. The cover helps but isnt the end all of punctures and tears. Also, remember the size of the ball... inflate the ball to the size stated or if using a cover inflate it till the cover is tight. The reviews for the ball and covers would be much better if it didnt come with the stupid hand/foot pump. Use compressed air or a better pump, save time, and blow it up to the size it is intended to be. Oh, and cut the little tag off where the opening is on the cover, the dog sees that and instantly goes for it, trying to tear it off. Now if you have a horse.... I got nuttin.

It is still inflated four years later! The dog, who is a pittie and a tough chewers, loves it.I think the main reason it's still a ball is because I also purchased the 40" cover. I'm not sure if I was sent a bigger cover or there is supposed to be that much slack but it has worked out because instead of trying to sink his teeth in the ball, he grabs the cover and pulls.Bottom line- if you have a tough chewer, get a cover that isn't skin tight. I may not have inflated the ball enough to fit the cover but it is inflated enough to roll as a ball should. I haven't had to add air in the whole 4yrs of owning this.

I purchased this thinking it would be good for my Aussie to use as a herding ball. He rolled it around the yard once and moved it, but it popped within 5 minutes. I taped up the hole, but it popped again 5 minutes later. The dog wasn't overly aggressive with the ball. The ball is rather thin and not very durable without some sort of covering. I don't recommend this kind of ball for herding dogs to use. Get the hard plastic ones for them instead. Horses must be gentler on them! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great fun for the dog until the cover took some damage. Once the ball was exposed in a couple areas, an accidental bounce against her teeth popped it. Still, it is decent quality for the money. Far better than beach balls. Other balls like this are basically the same material and durability. Not sure if there is any other product that works better. If anyone know of one, please speak up!I'm reserving 5 stars for the product that can actually bounce against my dogs teeth without popping.

My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. It is the second Jolly Ball that I have bought for her. The first was the 14in hard plastic ball which she also loved but it would cause her mouth to bleed when she was herding it cause it was a little too hard. This ball I got because it is bouncy and it says it is durable enough for a horse. We shall see once the snow is gone if that is true. But for now my dog can't get enough, I keep it in the house during winter because I don't want it to burst. She will go in the side room and check to make sure it is still there! One negative is the "pump" that comes with the ball. Although I understand the reason behind using the pump and not a compressor, it took FOREVER to use and kept popping apart. It was definitely not made to stand the pressure of filling a 25in ball with that much air pressure.

Bought for my dog and it lasted 43 seconds! She was having a "ball" lol and ended up in the corner of the fence. Guess she used her mouth/teeth to get it out of the corner and then bam, it deflated instantly. Definitely not made of a heavy duty material. We were really hoping the ball with the cover would've lasted for a long time.

Durable and funThe foals jumped all over it and it held up and a few of us played soccer with our horses. Good to desensitize them. Love it

N'achetez PAS ceci. Une perte d'argent.Meant to be strong enough for a horse and that is why we bought it for Maisie, a herding dog by nature. It lasted 2 minutes! A waste of money. Do not buy. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
