The metal clamps appear top be a lot more sturdy than the plastic ones. The plastic tips on them though slide off too easily. The jaws were misaligned so I had to bend them to position them properly. The springs are strong and these will clamp well. Overall I believe these will last a long time.

They have multiple uses. Orange makes them easy to find. They hold strongly. Very useful. I got the 6 in. size. I might use one to close a big dog food bag. I don't want an animal like a mouse that gets into my garage to enter the bag.

I use these excellent clamps to glue/clamp 1x2 inch wood frames to the back of Masonite board. Perfect for this purpose. But the rubber tips do tend to come off and get lost. And the tips are of crucial importance to my work. Rather wish I could buy a bag of spares.

I use these to keep a thin wire gate closed where I keep my kitten on my patio. So far it has withstood strong winds and kept the gate and tarp covering intact. I'm very satisfied with this product.

These are decent clamps for my uses. Good, strong spring and clamp well . The downside is the packaging ! The clamps were sealed in a heat shrink bag and this makes opening them very difficult. A niggling concern, but it would be as easy to do this another way.

These are not bad at all but not sure how they'll hold up with time. Metal seems like it will rust fast.
