These clamps are definitely heavy-duty and strong. The grip is lined with rubber, which is a good feature for maximum gripping.

I screwed these to the exterior wall of our town home close to our hot tub to hold the above-the-water air bubble cover, which saves having to replace the expensive regular cover so often. These do the job. 2 screw holes on one side of each clamp and one screw hole on the other side. Holds the cover vertically just fine. Recommended!

Works Great - needed one to replace a broken plastic piece on a personal travel usb fan. Works Perfect and now I know the fan will disinigrate before this clip does!

It said it is heavy duty. But I wasn’t sure how heavy duty so I bought 2 sets so I have 4 clamps. Well sadly the clamp kept slipping off the object it was holding. Using all 4 clamps at the same time did not hold at all. It not only did it slip off, but the rubber piece at the wide part of the clamp popped off.This clamps I think it would work for a paper pad on an easel, but not a light weight rug to hang on a wall. Total return. :(
