I waited a year to do this recommendation because I wanted to see if this grease gun would hold up. I use it almost every weekend on my tractors. It actually is a very nice gun and works good.

I read reviews about breaking the zerk fitting. I too broke mine BUTthen I searched YouTube how to remove stuck grease gun on fitting and found out the silver tip at hose end is adjustable. Meaning you can unscrew locking tip away from the nut to release jaws holding hose end on grease fitting.Hope this helps others.

The gun is OK, but don't use it until you replace the connecting fitting. I connected it to the zerk fitting and when completed it was impossible to get it off the fitting. Ended up breaking the nipple, then a difficult easy out latter I was faced with finding a metric zerk.Also the grease tube supplied was very difficult to install. I think the plastic label on the tube was setting up a friction tension with the inside of the tube, probably will be ok with a different brand of grease.Update: Buy a different gun. I bought a new coupler fitting to replace the worthless OEM coupler and guess what, it's some odd ball thread size that the closest I could determine is a 12mmx1.25, but not exact. Had to buy an entire new hose with 1/8" NPT on both ends. Luckily the main housing is 1/8".

I had trouble getting the grease cartridge into the gun despite following the provided directions. Maybe I'm just not familiar with this operation but it seemed really fussy to me. Once loaded, the gun works OK. Whether a design issue or just poorly written directions, not the best experience. Tigerdog sez, "only three stars."

Good Gun, Had no issues loading grease tube. Did not leak and works like it's supposed to.Bad reviews, "Crap Don't Buy It" video and other reviews almost kept me from trying this product.The Gun in the video has no cartridge or grease in the tube... as you can see from the position of theplunger rod. You can't get blood out of a turnip and you can't get grease from an empty gun.Other reviewers struggled with loading the supplied grease.Search for videos on how to load a grease gun for easy step by step instructions.

Nice solid gun but found it wouldn't connect solidly to grease nipples resulting in grease leaking.. Purchased a separate lock on coupler for $13 from Amazon and now greatly improved.
