Why didn't someone think of this before now. I just had a chance to put these to use and they performed flawlessly. Solid fit on the fitting, clean release and no mess. Strongly recommend.

I bought this for my Milwaukee grease gun for a very specific application and for that application it IS everything I hoped it would actually be. Refilling grease fittings after replacing tracks on Case track loaders out in the field, which trust me is never any fun or easy but I found that after I finally got it on refilling was a real pain because the original milwaukee fitting would not stay on the grease fitting without me holding it very firmly and it takes awhile to do. This Saker fitting is frankly built like a tank and there is zero need to hold it at all just put it on an fill it! The only complaint is that the Saker fitting does not fit into all grease fittings, just to big but for me I don't care about that. I wanted it for one purpose and it fills that need completely!

I purchased this Gen 2 version of the Saker grease gun coupler for its slender design to get into tight spots. I also bought the more expensive, but highly trusted competitor that comes with a rebuild kit. The following are my observations.I wanted a tip that I could put on and remove from zerk fittings without having to apply any force. This would be handy in awkward situations. The jaws of the competitor are freely moving and extend from the housing 1/2 inch when the lever is depressed. This allows the jaws to grab onto the fitting and tightens up as you release the lever. There is absolutely no resistance during this process. In contrast, the Saker jaws are not independent, free moving jaws. From my experience, the jaws appear to be a solid structure with slits cut into it, giving the appearance of 6 individual jaws. This gives the tip some flexibility when pushing it onto the zerk fitting. The jaws only extend 1/8 inch from the housing when the lever is depressed, thus limiting the jaws from expanding. As a result, it requires a small amount of force until it snaps into place when applying and removing the coupler. It’s not the end of the world, but in a tight, awkward space, it could be inconvenient. As seen in the photos, the Saker tip is longer, which comes in handy with recessed or shrouded zerks. The overall diameter of the Saker Gen 2 is 14 mm versus 16 mm with the competitor.Overall, I think the Saker is a fantastic product for the price point. I personally wouldn’t even consider any of the other cheaper options. I prefer the more expensive model over the Saker because there’s absolutely no resistance when applying or removing the coupler, it comes with a rebuild kit and its long-standing reputation. You will need to decide for yourself which will fit your needs best. For around $20, the Saker is very respectable!I hope some of this detailed information helps!

I had a different brand before and it was difficult to use. This coupler was quick and easy to use and worked great.

So I have been looking at a grease gun coupler like this for a while. Well Saker ran a discount and I said thats the price I'm willing to pay. First impression when I got was the quality was really good but I was worried it was to big to fit in tight places. So to put it to the test I first used it on a tractor with a frontend loader. The coupler got to every zert with ease as my old regular coupler did, but with out having to struggle to hold the coupler and pump the grease at the same time. I should have bought this coupler long ago!!! If you don't want to fight greasing your equipment get the Saker quick coupler and you won't regret it!!!

It works just as described. Clamp it on the grease fitting and you can let it go and just pump the grease. I kind of thought it too good to be true when I first heard about it but it made a believer out of me. An incredible amount of time saving in your greasing jobs over having to hold on to the fitting just right and pump it too. This coupler will hold on to the grease fitting for you and all you have to worry about is pumping the grease gun. Very nice addition to your grease gun.

Worked fine on the first vehicle I greased with it. The second vehicle had a zerk that would not take grease. Every since that one difficult zerk, it has leaked on every zerk I have put it on. This item uses stamped sheet metal fingers that grab the zerk. I am convinced that those fingers bent under the pressure exerted by the grease gun. This particular gun only has a 1000 psi hose well below the 14,000 psi that this coupling is supposed to withstand. I have found the ones with balls that grab zerk much like an air hose chuck work much better. Save yourself some time money and frustration, buy the better quality ones.It gets worse. Contacted the company, they had several hoops they wanted me to jump through. I met all of those, sent them the order number, sent them a video of what it was doing, copy of review with a written description of what the problem was. It’s been at least 10 days and I have not heard back from them. So much for the satisfaction guarantee that is printed on the box. The only thing worse than their product is their so-called customer service.

Fitting doesn’t fit in some tight spaces on komatsu excavators. Had to buy another locking fitting for my grease gun that can get in everywhere

Bought one because the allu bucket that’s fitted to the machine wasn’t taking grease. Well it is now !! Simple to use and fit to the grease gun hose. Just click and pump. Less mess and less struggling with the grease nipples and clean hands when I have just greased the whole machine. I’m delighted with it. Was a bit concerned about the size and fitting it onto recessed nipples but so far it’s been perfectly fine on the little 14 ton excavator and fitted on them all. Would recommend.
