The metal in these pliers seems way too thin to work as a hose removal tool. Even on 1/4" ID tubing they would bend if a sqooze very hard. I ended up returning them without trying them out but I doubt they would work on much over 1/4" tubing. I guess I should have tried them but I didn't want to damage them before returning them.

Great tool to have. Works well for popping off stubborn hoses. Much better than trying to pry off with a screwdriver :)

The metal is not hardened, they are too soft to be useful. Everything flexes to the point that your first is completely clenched closed and still it is not enough force to push off the tubing from the fitting... Really poor Chinese quality with these ones. Trust me, save your money.

I’ve had an issue with these bending when trying to get more stubborn hoses off. Not very useful.

Works well especially on the small air lines in my aquarium that always seem to be stuck on.

It's a little flimsy and will bend if used on larger really stuck hoses. But for hard to reach or grab small hoses like fuel lines or vacuum hoses it does really work. All in all a decent and inexpensive tool to have in the toolbox for those occasional hoses that nothing else seems to work on.
