This is a well constructed set of 3 fittings. Once they are in place, they work and your leaks disappear. The pressure is back at the nozzle and you can stop crying over wasted water. So far, they are holding well and are quite sturdy. I would recommend these.ButYou should know your hose and prepare. The videos say to cut the hose with a scissors . So a garden shear perhaps? I have a 5/8 hose that was never suppose to leak and it has multiple feature to prevent this (but the user stored it poorly) . Let me tell you, garden shears won't do. I bought a heavy duty zinc cutter (store didn't have a hose cutter) to be able to even start the repair.Then the inside of the hose had a ridge. Getting in the connectors was a fight. I wish it was as easy as the video. I struggled for close to 90mins to get all 3 fittings in place. (I did it 4 times in total and the removal was a battle as well. But it speaks to the tight fitting.) Tilting sideways (starting at the ridge) helped, but phew.After that, placing on the couplings and engaging the connectors was easy.So, the product is solid, well made. But know your hose, and be prepared that the insertions may give you a fight, and you may need heavier scissors.

If you have a garden hose with connectors like the ones in the picture, you will need this repair. This new hose leaked from day one. These repair parts quickly fixed my problem. I just cut off the end of the hose and screwed on the new male connector. No more leaks. Also, the threaded part is long enough that you can screw down various sprayers without having to use two gaskets. The metal clamp is nice and smooth and works better than a screw-clamp.The female connector was corroded onto the faucet and I used pliers to unscrew it, but almost bent the faucet pipe. Couldn’t use Liquid Wrench. Had to cut off the connector and replace with this brass one. Can easily remove by hand now.
