I got my son this for his 10th birthday. He really liked it, but it was much more challenging to put together than we anticipated. The pieces are very small and the instructions are not very clear. We did end up figuring it out and his hard work paid off! I would say this would be best geared for kids 12+. My son is very advanced for his age when it comes to building things like this, and this was the most challenging build he has ever done. It's really cool once put together.

I bought this for my nephew's birthday. He loves anything that he can put together that has moving parts. The variety of options has kept him interested for a long time. I love that he was learning along the way but my favorite part was seeing how excited he was. Worthy every penny!

a bit smaller than we expected to be but the kiddo had fun. We can not get the solar panel to work but the building part was enjoyable

The German manual shows that we're missing pieces that the English manual doesn't have- I don't speak German- can't get the robot to work with following the English diagrams- please help!

Grandson is very into these ro optics. He might be above the age year in mind, but he loved it. Wasn't quite the challenge but it was good
