This neck gaiter is more structured than most. In addition to having pockets for Hothands packs that can rest over the ears, or more effectively in my opinion under the ears over the pulse point's, it has tabs that hang down front and back to give more coverage to the parts of the neck often exposed in the front and back. There’s also a drawstring to cinch it down and keep drafts out. The fleece is nice and soft and I think this will be a nice addition to my cold weather gear. I plan to keep it in my emergency kit as we had longish power outages last winter and keeping my neck and ears warm was a particular pain. I recommend this highly.

I didn't even put any warmers in the pouches and it didn't stay up on my ears. It does work out much better, for me at least, as a neck warmer. It's a good product, just won't stay up on my ears unless I tighten the draw string so hard I choke myself.. even then, the ear portion kind of flops over ;) But kept my neck warm deer hunting.

I mean what's not to love? A source of warmth when its freezing cold, the only thing I hate more then being freezing cold , is the thought of my kids being cold. Now everyone is toasty warm and I'm the best Mom & Aunt & sister and friend in the world! Yeah for me

This was perfect for the subzero weather whichI experienced in a recent trip to Lapland. It was a welcome addition to layering. Also, are openings on each sides of the neck which can hold packets of hot hands adding to an additional depth of warmth. This was a great and useful purchase!!

The elastic cord on the back helps with sizing and making sure it fits. The bottom is meant to fit under the collar of your jacket for maximum warmth. The quality of fleece is pretty good but once again, this item fits fairly large.
