This item is not the best fit for a face cover. It is woven pretty small, I would be more inclined to say it would fit children better. It is very soft and thick knit, but definitely not for bigger heads unless you want a tight fit and only covers some of the neck when pulled over the mouth.

This neck warmer is very cozy and snug, as well as thick with its plush, fur-like inner lining, so it does work well against the cold. It does run small, though; I have a small to medium head and was just able to tug it on comfortably. I gave this item four stars not only because it isn't really one-size-fits-all, but also because it has a slight odor that takes more than a day to go away (even after wearing outdoors). Otherwise, this neck warmer is a good value.
