I had to figure out how to store dog food in a way that wasn't too heavy. I wanted a handle and good-fitting lid. These fit the bill perfectly. I will find other uses & surely get more buckets, because these are super handy. And so colorful! Note: the rims are not easy to put on, but once they're on, you're done. They'll stay put till pried off. I use a rubber mallet, then whack away around the rim till they evenly pop into place. It takes some faith to believe this is going to work, because they can be very resistant. Just make sure it's on straight, then tap all around with some force till it is all the way on. The lids will easily screw on & off after that. If you're having trouble screwing on the lid, your rim might not be all the way on yet, so keep trying. These things are great quality and work perfectly once the rim is on right. Definitely recommend.

I needed something strong to store pet food in, as mice had chewed into the bags of kibble. These are perfect for 10-16 lb bags.

I used these food grade buckets to store items and it didn’t work as well as some other gamma lid buckets that I bought. The screwing on was not as sturdy. It would loose the grip when I was screwing it on with no space between the lid and bucket. You had to really push it down and screw it but even then, it might not screw all the way. Wouldn’t buy these again. But keeping the ones I already bought cuz it’s too much of a hassle to return.
