I purchased a 200 pack of these upholstery tacks to upscale a Chesterfield sectional sofa that I had recently purchased. The sofa had everything I wanted in terms of its size, styling and functionality, but was missing the nail head trim that I like. The brown color of these tacks coordinates perfectly with the sofa's grey linen fabric and adds that bit of sophistication that was missing. I used about 90 tacks on each arm, along with a dab of fabric cement to ensure they don't work themselves out over time. I'm very satisfied with the quantity and quality of these tacks for the low cost. Hight recommended.

These tacks are pretty heavy duty. I went through thin leather, 1/8th inch plywood and pine without a problem. I used a hard rubber mallet and they didn't scratch. None of them bent.

These are a little fragile and easy to break but at this diameter, not sure how they could be made stronger. Overall, they work.

I ordered these to tack some things down at a Lord of the Rings party. They were so much more attractive than regular silver thumbtacks. When details matter, I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Good product.
